Hi Michael

I tried a workshop with a little burning and dodging (more density in the highlights & less density in the shadows). This has evened up the lighting and removed the big black shadows. Also added 5% yellow & 20% saturation.

Smile To ChrisJ: Thanks

Hi Chris

thanks for the workshop. I lime what you have done here - I woudl never have thought of dodging the shadows under the bridge so I guess that shows my lack of experience here. If you read my original forum message whcih raises my concerns about the image - the file I have on my laptop in terms of colour saturation is more in keeping with what you have done here and I was not happy with the uploaded version when it didnt appear to be the same - so I can see where the changes you made came from because I had already thought of those.

But nice workshop - I like it - improvement in some ways - it woudl have been impossible to get it like this on exposure settings alone at the time of shooting.

Thanks
