Photos of special interest ??

On my intro-page I see "public list : photos of special interest"... I don't know why that is put in my intro, especially when I click on it, I see the same photos as my gallery-photos...
Someone knows the answer ?

The "Public list" section shows which publically accessible lists people have added you into.

A public list is just a way of grouping photographers, photographs or critiques that interest you together.

So, for example, if you wanted to gather together a list of all photographers who come from London you could create a list called say "London, England".

If there's a list with just you in it, it could be intentional, but it might simply be a test or an accident.

Luc, c'est une nouvelle fonction de TE. Sur ta page d'intro, tu retrouveras toutes les listes publiques où tu es présent. Ce sont des listes faites par d'autres membres...

Luc, This person added you in his list. at the top, just over the picture thumbnails, you'll have :members, photos, critiques, workshops. In the member section, you will see who is in that list and you will see whose list that is. On photos, it's all the photos by the members in the list; same thing for critiques and ws.

thanks for the reply. I took a look. It's one member who has created this list. That means that all of my pictures are in his list ? Still strange... I don't see the meaning of it...

Luc, how can I put it so that you understand? Many people use those list. For example, for me, a member put me in a list that he called "Membres favoris francophones 2". This person wants to see what his favorite french speaking members are doing. So he made up that list. At the moment, there are 47 persons in the list. All the pictures, critiques and workshops that those members make are included in the list so that the member who made up the list is able to follow his favorite members.

Une personne pourrait-elle déjà m'expliquer où celà se trouve dans la page de présentation; en ce qui me concerne: c'est marqué:recent activity? est-ce celà? dans l'affirmative à quoi celà sert

Juliette, il existe surement des membres dont vous voulez suivre l'activité mais dont vous ne voulez pas marquer comme favori (parce qu'il y a une limite au nombre de favori ou tout simplement parce que ce n'est pas un favori...). Cette lite, peu importe la raison pourquoi vous voulez suivre les membres qui s'y trouvent, vous permettent de suivre l'activité de ces membres, sans avoir à passer des heures à écrire leur nom dans la case recherche ou en passant à traver la galerie de photo au complet...
J'Espère que c'est plus clair...
