A solution would be to list Turkey in both Europe and Asia, then post the pictures according to location.... The same could be done with Russia...

Yep, good idea.

Also For The USA, France, GB, Netherlands, etc.
(Hawaii, French Guyana, The Antilles, St. Maarten, Falklands).

Yes, I´m sure. Because the location displayed on TrekEarth is the GEOGRAPHIC location (even though a small part of Turkey is actually located in Europe) - and has therefore nothing to do with politics, economy, religion, or any other things.
It´s - as I said - just about Geography.

I want to mention again that Middle East IS NOT a GEOGRAPHIC Region. It is a POLITICAL region.

Falklands is probably 10.000 km, may be more. Hawaii is not in the continent, etc...

I have no problem with being declared in the middle east. being shown in Europe is not a source of pride
