Great tyro 2014-02-17 14:01

Hi Craig,

Wow! This one's a beauty!

A photograph very much la Lisa, taken in the "blue hour" with a long exposure and having a delicious mix of natural and artificial light, the long exposure also having a wonderfully smoothing and calming effect on the water. A fine composition with lovely light and colours, perfect exposure and stunning details and sharpness.

Fabulous!

Kind Regards,

John.

P.S. You say you had difficulty getting both bridges into the frame but your exif data state that you took this at 10mm focal length - you still had another 2mm to go at the wide end of that lovely lens of yours!

Default To tyro: distortion

Hi John
thanks as always for your comments.
i guess i should have explained it better, thats my fault.
you're correct in that i had 2 mm more to go, but what i meant was it would have created more distortions.
At 8mm the 2 bridges would have been at extreme acute angles. So yes, it fits the 8mm easily but i wanted a focql lenght where it didnt create alot of distortions.
have a great day!
Cheers
craig
