Great mcmtanyel 2014-01-29 12:57

Hi Marie Louise,
So, I should have guessed, we get our English word "queue" from French. Is it pronounced the same way in French?
I can't decide which one is cuter, the photo or its title. It reminds me of ducklings walking in single file behind their mommy.
Regards,
MT

Default To mcmtanyel: A la queue leu leu

Hi Murat,
Thank you for your visit which pleases me reminding me of TE, while I have hardly had any time for the site these last few days, taken up by family worries.
"Queue" is not pronounced in French as in English. Just "k" plus the vowel sound of "a", as ago, again, arrive...
The vowel sound of "leu leu" rhymes with "queue" in French.
I hope this explanation makes sense. Google translation gives the sounds if you are interested
Best regards.
Marie-Louise.
