Great Subhogen 2013-12-02 3:22

Hello Prayash,
Beautiful capture of the Victoria Memorial with its mirror reflection on the pond. Nice soft light enhances the pastel colored sky.
But why it is titled 'High Noon'?
By High Noon we mean mid-day and the sun is never lying so low on the horizon at mid-day. Please share if you have any other logic. That does not take anything away from this fine fine capture of VM. Well done!!
Regards,
Subho

Smile To Subhogen: Hi Subho!

Thanks Subho! By High Noon, I was referring to the Imperial High Noon of the British Raj, and I take it that the VM is the best surviving example of the period.

Default Logic

You are correct. A well conceived thought I must say.
