Great Kugart 2013-11-18 8:18

Hi Bev ,
Very nice view of part of this rugged coastline and this beautiful little inlet. Nice POV looking down towards the inlet and the little track cut into the hill for walkers to enjoy the view. Since your last post on Tintagel I watched a program on TV about this area and indeed it is a special place with spectacular scenery.

Thanks, Arthur, for this thoughtful critique.
Tintagel Castle is disappointing in terms of its remains but its location is utterly amazing. The climb is exhausting but once at the top of the steep staircase, the views are breath taking.
Likewise, the coastal path has some equally spectacular views.
There is also a wonderful walk up the Rocky Valley, following the stream, where a ruined mill has curious carvings on its stones; they appear very Celtic in design!

Honestly, I could wax lyrical about this place for pages!!

Kind regards,
