Great KLB 2012-05-16 11:07

Hello Gert

Reflections are always a good subject. The combination of shapes, the undulations, the colors, make a sight often fascinating.
Personnally, I don't resist to photograph all kind of reflections. And I think that this kind of pictures deserves a bit of post-processing to bring some fun, like an abstract painting. Your facade is perhaps a little dull... That's what I try to do in a WS. Hope you don't mind.
I cut the upper part, less interesting, to bring the two opened windows out. And I play with levels, contrat, and colours to propose you a fanciful version ;o)

Regards
karine

Default To KLB: thanks

Thanks Karine for showing an interest and taking your time. Unfortunately I have to admit you are quite right
It annoys me that I didn't do all the PP that I often find others should have done
No doubt your version is an improvement.
Best regards,
Gert

Default Thanks

Hello Gert

I'm really happy that you like my WS.
I didn't want to claim that it was an improvement, but just a different version, perhaps more cheerful. To cheat a little with the reality, and bring sun when it misses.... It is impossible to do when we photograph landscapes, PP has to remain faithful and natural, but we can have fun with abstract pictures

(I translated thanks to Google Translate Ulf's comment and I understood that he did not like my version, so I try to explain my approach)

Best regards
Karine
