I'm surprised this one hasn't produced any points for you yet.
its a wonderful overview of the City of Manchester. I'm also surprised how vacant and empty the city looks, perhaps its just the time of day or something.
great to see you using a f22, i do that as well.
scanning the image, i'm really interested in that building with the strong white border - lots of composition options there.

Thanks for stopping by. I wont get many points, as I dont put in the mileage with lots of critiques of my own, and I guess the pigeons are coming home ! But then as we spoke of recently TE fatigue can set in from time to time. This was an exciting spot to visit, but sadly only briefly, and with the family in tow, opportunities are limited. But late Sunday afternoon, it was indeed quiet, as you say. It is by no means the city centre, and is still relatively new, so I suppose not that busy yet even in the week. There are those who say f22 is a way too small, and way out of the 'sweet spot' but I say why do the likes of Canon make it that way, if we aren't meant to use it ? Doh ! No doubt better brains then mine will explain why, but I paid for it, I'll use it if I want ! rgds Martin
