Good day,
I have read a bit about French Polynesian, as far as I remember, but never seen it; I doubt that I'll ever see it as well - little too far from me, completely another corner of the world. Seems like a great place to vizit, great photo as usual, and informative note as well!

To Uhu: Paradise on earth...

You are still young enough to see it. Put it on your 'bucket list.' It is even more beautiful than I could have imagined it. The people appear to walk out of Paul Gauguin's paintings. As you know, Gauguin is lived out his life in French Polynesia. He is buried, close to Jacques Brell, in a cemetery on the Island of Hiva Oa in the Marquesas Islands.
