Great delpeoples 2012-05-02 4:51

Salut cher Philippe

Love the confusion and higgledy piggedly nature that is Asia. The colours, the signs, the PP, all top work. And thanks for the photo gear tip. Did you pick up any little presents for yourself? ;)

Cheers
Lisa

Default To delpeoples: presents

Hi Lisa,

yes, actually I did bring back a little present for myself. it's one of those variable neutral density filters to get (very) long exposures even in daytime...for example: http://1x.com/photo/46107/category/a...artdieuhttp://. Haven't had a chance to take it out in the field though but I intend to do so as soon as I can...

Cheers,

Philippe

Smile Variable ND Filters

Salut Phil

Wow, I've never heard of them before and since reading your reply, have been Googling and salivating. Ahhhhh I want!! Did you get one of these? http://www.takegreatpictures.com/pho...ands-on-review

Can hardly wait to see the results you get.

Anyway, thanks for the info. Amazing what you learn in this place.

Have you settled back in to normality after your Antipodean Adventures?

Have a great day
Lisa

Yep, can't wait to see what I can get as well. I actually got a cheaper brand but don't know if that was such a good idea.
One thing you gotta take into account is the possible color cast. The reviews are great for those two models but they're also the most expensive:

One last piece of advice if you ever consider buying one, take the one that fits your biggest front lens and use ring adapters for the smaller ones...

Take care,

Phil

PS: Yes settled back in my French shoes...already planning the next trip in 2014!!
