A detailed note informs this photo very effectively. I had no idea you had visited Easter Island, but then where have you not visited. I see that you shot the photo in late January. Are there distinct seasons on the island? Warm regards and have a good weekend, Malgorzata. Regards to your family,

To batalay: seasons
I suppose that on the Easter Island there are no distinct seasons but we chose January-February because we went to Patagonia later - as far as the Tierra del Fuego - adn there it was important to be in summer. A whole year...
Thanks for reminding me that an entire year has elapsed since your last visit. We speak of you in affectionate terms. We loved having you here, as did our friends. You took the best photos of Monticello that I've seen. We will have to have a reunion, either on this side of "the pond" or on your side. Bulent
