Hello Aleks,
Excellent evidence in black & white.
This is a clear testimony of the hard working life of this man. I don't know what job he does (agricultural worker?) but when he retires, these hands will 'heal' after some time.
I know this for sure. I've seen this happen with the hands of my father after his retirement.

You are right, he is what we call in England " a small holder" basically a piece of land, some animals in it and always working. I doubt he has much in terms of machinery. Regards Aleks
