Yes, the photos are really thought-provoking...
We take too many things for granted in this world!

I've also seen a bit of the TV series mentioned in the comments to these photos - "Life after people". I hadn't seen it before. It has much in common with these photos. But, to be honest, the first few series left me puzzled, so I didn't finish watching it.

it's not a proverb but the words said by Lao Tzu - from his "Tao Te Ching"..
It seems to me one can only feel the meaning of these words, not explain them "in words" (if I may say so). Did you read "Tao Te Ching"?

No 'amount' of knowledge is enough, it's ever-expanding.. that's what I do each day: gain new knowledge... and the more knowledge I gain the more I feel like keeping silent! it's a paradox.

"the more knowledge I gain the more I feel like keeping silent!" -- not agreed. If one doesn't disseminate, the knowledge will go with him/her. The only thing which increases by gifting/disseminating/distributing .. is knowledge.


"that's what I do each day: gain new knowledge" -- you must be in any field of research...best wishes for your success.
