Email Alerts Available

The first email alert module (Favorites) is now available. Any member who uses this alert will receive an email whenever anyone in their Favorite Members list posts a photo within the specified time period. The available periods are: 'On Demand' (within 15 minutes) , 'Hourly' and 'Daily'. To access your Alerts Profile, go to: 'My Account' -> 'Profiles' -> 'Alerts Profile'

-An email will only be sent out if one or more photos have been posted.
-Photo Titles are displayed instead of thumbnail images for bandwidth reasons (sorry).

I wonder if it would be possible to be alerted when somebody starts a discussion on a photo that one has critiqued. Many discussions are based on critiques and have subjects such as "To dufus". But I have no way of knowing a discussion was directed to me unless I carefully watch all the Photo discussion threads.

If you go to the 'Photo Discussions' tab within your own 'Discussions' section, you will only see photo discussions pertaining to your own photos. That should help somewhat, although alerts would be better. Thanks for the feedback.

i received an email from another member showing the subject headline. it´s not very obvious how i now read the email... please can you advise of include within ´my account´a ´my messages´ function.

Ok, I set up my notifications to go to my Gmail account and then forward to my Earthlink account. I did the online chat thing with Earthlink, I suspect they have blocked any messages coming from the domain Internetbrands.com. All they would tell me to do was contact the domain and have them check for a bounce-back message and then they could petition Earthlink to un-block them. They couldn't (or wouldn't) tell me if they had blocked that domain on Sunday.

Oh well, the way I have it set up works fine, hopefully Earthlink won't start blocking Gmail...

Hi, I'd like to make a suggestion here. i find this email alerts very convenient. However, I think it would be great to ass the name of the photographer in the title itself so, when confronted with many email alerts, one could go directly to the photographer he or she wants to see...
Would that be possible?
