I have bracketed the shots and have darker sky, however the sky wasn't very attractive, bit overcast with just a hint of blue, and IMO having it darker wouldn't...

get spyder express monitor calibration hardware, fairly inexpensive and solves the problem.

my monitor is calibrated, but it's not the best for photo editing.

Not sure if you have seen this sites, if not you should not only concentrate on brand but also on the panel inside the monitor,...

I am in complete agreement with George, although realize this is as much of the critique for the whole site as it is of the photo, it's just that this images seems to be a worthy medium to deliver it.

if you are sticking with Nikon then D3 is their top of the line, once you get that you should also get top of the line lenses, once you have that to produce top of the line images you will need top...

just out of curiousity, what's wrong with saying "thank you" even multipe times, we live in a pretty rough world where this sentence is very often forgotten, so I don't get the rules or the reasons...
