To tyro: Raw processing

Thanks John for the kind comments. I use LR which is a sophisticated raw processor. I simply moved the negative clarity slider down and didn't select any particular part.

I import into PSE...

To janjan1897: partial desaturation

Thankyou for your kind comments. I did indeed do some partial desaturation as the blue tones in the picture didn't look right so I made it look more dramatic especially in the sky.
Kind Regards, Ann

To tyro: Jersey

Thanks John,
I think that you would enjoy Jersey very much. Guernsey is perhaps better in that it is easier to reach Sark and Herm from there. There are some fascinating museums centred around the...

To tyro: cliff edge

Thanks John,
No rail and indeed one of our group dropped a valuable lens over the side and it fell on a small ledge a few feet down. It was far too dangerous for any of our group to attempt to...

To SnapRJW: Thanks

Hi Rosemary,
Thanks for your excellent comments. It is annoying about the scrolling I agree. The reason for the tight framing is that after doing the PP barrelling work I had to lose some - shame....

Hi Rosemary,
We were close enough to get wet! We had to stand on the rocks with water swirling around us.
Great fun.

To tyro: Thanks

Hi John,
I am glad that you like this one. You are correct as the wooden buildings are just a little further down but continuous with these brick ones. I have amended my note.
Thanks very much....

To saxo042: Not me!

Hello Gunnar,
Thanks for your kind comments on this one. Several people have commented on whether or not I am in the reflection. I can't see myself in it so not sure why.
Best wishes, Ann

Thanks for your kind comments on the photo. Yes, I did try crab but not sure whether it was King Crab. The seafood generally was excellent.

Well - that is indeed the same box. I think all channel island post boxes are normally blue. Were you on a sailing trip when you visited Sark?

Hi,
Thanks Will for your kind comments. I cropped for the reasons that you suggest. Also stopped the horizon cutting through the middle of the picture.
