I visited the jail. Only the 2nd time Ive been 'inside'. The other was fremantle jail in Western Australia. Got out of there quick too!

Try f16 or higher and a longer exposure time that comes with it. Aperture priority setting not auto. For a zoom lens, go with f32 for max dof. I used a stone wall as a tripod.

Yes this is the site being excavated and supervised by Belgian archaeologists. Well worth a visit but it is a lot more remote than Ephesus.
