To ChrisJ: Arctic Cathedral

Thanks Chris,
The church was open when I passed it on daytime. But there was an entrance fee, so I didn't go in.

To PaulVDV: Jersey

Thanks Paul,
Actually Jersey was never part of EU. And cows, I think they are the best followers of 'Keep Calm' instruction. They don't care.

To alvaraalto: Departures and arrivals

Thanks Rob,
You would be surprised how busy it is! Not many connections from Europe. A few more from USA and Canada. Surprisingly many from neighbour islands. Add to that freighters and business...

To emka: Gotthard Tunnel

Thanks Malgo,
Hard to say when the works started, considering huge amount of preparation work needed. But the actual excavation started in 2003 and breakthrough was on 2011.

Tack Gert,
Dunkel Hefe Weissbier, dark unfiltered wheat beer.
Obviously I had to pay for the restaurant. But it isn't that much there.
Cheers!

To macondo: Finlayson

Thanks Andrew,
No this is not enlarged for this page, the width is exactly 790 pixels. Instead opening the photo in new tab shrinks it if it doesn't fit into your screen. Factory founder, James...

Thanks Andrew,
This was shot from Näsinneula tower. That structure on the middle of the lake is a beacon.

To serp2000: Tamron

Thanks Serghei,
Yes, I think this lens is a good compromise considering price and weight. Certainly much better than Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III I used before.

To macjake: Ice

Thanks Craig,
The kids are definitely on the dangerous zone. Also the path looks somewhat iffy to me. The stream is not big though, so probably it's influence does not reach very far.

Now that more urgent problems seem to fixed, I really wish that shutter speed selection would be corrected too.
Now there's some odd shutter speeds like 26 s available there. But not more usual ones...

It is also not possible to select aperture or exposure time on photo upload. And some country level links don't work either, for example Finland.

I changed buses here on the way from Grindelwald to Meiringen. There was some gap between timetables.
Doing it opposite direction towards Grindelwald is a great way to enter that...

To macjake: Dreams

In TE you have a reputation of a man who makes his dreams come true. So, destination Switzerland maybe?
Here's the recipe for this shot: Take afternoon train from Chur to St. Moritz....

To delpeoples: Jersey

Thanks Lisa,
This one is from the east coast of Jersey. TE really should have "states" of Jersey and Guernsey instead of Channel Islands because they are separate crown dependencies.
