To emka: Srednji Kanal

Hi Malgo

Yes, indeed: taken from the boat a few minutes after leaving the anchorage at Muline on the island of Uglijan. It would have been around 0530 in the morning: i.e. this is dawn rather...

To mkamionka: Old photographs

Hello Mariusz

My experience is that negatives and transparencies are generally OK, so long as the lens of your (maybe cheap) camera was acceptable. The problem usually lies in how the originals...

To tyro: Away from Wi-Fi

Hello John

Don't bate your breath too much! I'm a bit slow to process my RAW files, but a few of them will probably see the light of day sooner or later. Sailing in the Adriatic again. This...

To tyro: Border crossing

Hi John
Border crossing no problem in a hire car: I did it a couple of years ago with very little hassle. You need extra insurance, if memory serves, and the Southern Cypriots are a little cagey...

To papera: Hi Cristina

Thank you so much for your critique. Do I understand that you are a native of Venice, or somewhere near? Last time I was there, during Carnevale, it was February, and of course still quite crowded....

Truly frustrating. I have refused to post or critique until these problems are sorted. I shudder to think of the number of members TE is losing as a result of these ongoing issues. I am certainly...
