Hi everyone,
I have seen some photos posted containing film grain or noises that reduce the impact of the image. As often recommended by a few (and wise) members of TE, NeatImage is an amazing tool and best of all it's free for personal use. You can downloaded it here. I just just it on one of my old picture and the results is amazing.
Regards,
Thien

And I have a tutorial here:

I've just downloaded it, and tried it on several images, an absolutely top notch product! amazingly good...

I know I try Neat Image on virtually every photo I process. it does not always work well, but usually it does. If I was printing from my digital camera (I will be once I buy my Digital SLR), I know I would be happy to pay for the full version as well. You are right Thien, it is excellent.

It's worth looking at the tutorial (which I plan to do) because NeatImage doesn't always improve my shots. It's useful, but it's not a magic fix so I recommend that you use it carefully and keep backups...

Obrigado Thien!
Thanks for the tip. I download it just to notice that my scanner isn't in the profile list if Neatimage... I think I have to download and print a color char in order to calibrate my poor HP scanner...

That is the best way to do but you can, in the mean time, pickup a random profile that you think matches best to your scanner :)

It may not be magic but it's pretty close. The improvement with 'noisy' shots really does have to be seen to be believed.
