they explain everything on gmail , in the settings on the right corner at the top..

Gmail does not allow users to receive executable files (such as files ending in .exe!!
but i hope it will change in next future...

Yes, its' right, this is what they say: <b>As a security measure to prevent potential viruses, Gmail does not allow users to receive executable files (such as files ending in .exe) that could contain damaging executable code.
Gmail does not accept these types of files, even if they are sent in a zipped (.zip, .tar, .tgz, .taz, .z, .gz) format. Any message of this type sent to your Gmail account will be bounced back to the sender.</b>

But I just sent a zipped exe <b>and</b> a renamed exe to my other e-mail address, it took a while but both mails arrived ;-)

that is good news,but i hope this is only in beta gmail a problem to send exe files,i hope they will change it soon
