I've seen his pics a couple of times, I think once in Colours magazine. He takes photos of crowds, and the one photo I remember was a v. wide shot of people wading in the ocean w/ the beach in the background. For some reason the people were scattered in a way that made them look widely spaced and the whole pic looked a little overexposed. I know he has a whole book. I thought his name was Massimo something, Massimo Vitale? But my internet searches are coming up dry. Does anyone know?

I also came across this curious graph for measuring an artist's 'ranking' - whatever that means...:

<a href="http://http://www.artfacts.net/index.php/pageType/artistInfo/artist/1982" target="_blank"> rank</a>

As for the links c'mon you have no excuses :
pls replace the characters ) with > and ( with < , if not I can't show you, there might be a solution not to run the code but I don't know it :

<a href="http://www.consarc-ch.com/galle/vitali.html" target="_blank"> Vitali</a>

Sorry abt the rather nonsensical bit in the first post - I was copying from something Luko sent me and about hyperlinks and copied too much. Anyway, my most recent attempt at a hyperlink for Vitali seems to have worked.
