NO FOTOZ?
Good evening and Welcome to TrekNews.
Tonight we're finally going to give an answer to the most asked question in TrekEarth for the last weeks.
Where the hell is George?
The truth is TE hasn't been the same. Let's hear what TE members are saying:
"Man, it's been hard. I mean, it's been ages since somebody really gave me one of those relentless critiques that left me bleeding on the ground. I know, I'm not supposed to like that, but they can be so inspiring... so honest... I kind of miss them."
"My problem is I've been trying several distances, and I come here and post, but I'm always left in doubt: am I close enough? Is this close enough yet?"
"Right, I get good critiques and I get bad critiques. But what I really miss are the devastating critiques and the glorious critiques - you know, the exclamation marks, the questions, the capital letters! You know, I stopped feeling the risk, the adrenaline, when pressing that Upload button."
"Why bother take pictures myself if I don't get to see those grainy ballsy monuments that he used to post? No inspiration, man, no inspiration."
Well, the answer everybody wants is here: George is not posting because George is out photographing! Thank God!
After getting bugged by several TE fellow-members that he was only posting old stuff, some stuff even very old, he finally decided to get his lazy rear-end up from his seat and go out and actually use his talent again. Some say he even has a digital camera.
And how was this discovered? Let's hear our investigative reporter, out on the streets of Toronto:
This afternoon, a man entered the emergency room in the Hospital with signs of a photographic lens imprinted on his forehead. "It was scary... he was just too close!", the victim stated. Despite all this drama, he Hospital somehow felt more human.
Going out on the streets, the scenery is impressive. Some places are showing a path of graininess that is very characteristic. I look around and see that colors just have more punch. People are different, they look like they are being watched one at a time, not as a crowd. Even the horizon seemed to bend at the passage of something.
I don't know what's going on, but the word on the street is that a challenge is building up here... It seems some people are defying George to post on the 8th of April... to post something new, a photo a week old, at most... because the 8th of April is Easter and that is the day to start a new life!
Does he feel the pride? Does he feel the pressure? Will he take the challenge?
:-)))))
