Default Workshop options..

From my perspective I think it would be a good idea to make the workshop option default to yes - since I'm sure that some people forget to select it, I know I've nearly done so on a number of occasions!

There are some people who HIGHLY object to someone messing with their shots. That's fine, their choice (and their loss, IMHO). They don't want a 'Yes' default.

I think the best of worlds would allow one to set the default On or Off in their personal profile. Then it would always come up in that state for that poster. You could turn it the other direction for a particular picture.
