Apologies if this has already been asked, however........
I'm one of those photographers who still likes using film as well as digital and I have a collection of negatives and transparencies that I'm thinking about having scanned (as I don't have a scanner myself).
When these have been scanned to a digital format, is it necessary (or even possible) to sharpen them?
I'd welcome advice from any regular film users / scanners.
Thank you.
