awesome photo story Narayan, one of those (imo too few) that combines photojournalizm and art, both aspect at a very top level, the message is loud and clear, images evoke emotions, yet at the same time it's done in a very artsy, visually atractive way.

A really moving slide show. Words can certainly not express what one feel looking at such pictures. Thank you for the link.

Great, no stunning pictures, very artfully composed. Devastating.
Now I know you're in Africa as you read this, right? Well some years ago Mrs F and I visited Zimbabwe (before it went totally all to hell) and here'S what I learned:
60% of all Zim soldiers were HIV positive - British army guys sent to train them said they didn't have the stamina for any serious training. 60%!!!
Another thing: drunken truckdrivers crisscross that country in old diesel trucks day and night. Every couple of miles there's a "bottle shop" where they sell Scuds (cheap local beer). Also there are young women, often holding abbies who basically sell their bodies for a few pennies, and those crazy drivers avail themselves of that all the time, go back home to their own woves and infect them, infect their children too.
It's trie in Zambia, in S Africa, every damn where in africa. Unless the insane lifestyle changes, it'S kaput. Ugandan economy has almost ground to a halt in some places because of that.
And I hear India is kind of heading in that direction for parts of the population (again long distance drivers).
Just reminded me of that trip...
