External Flash Unit

Hello Friends,
I'm looking for a external flash unit for my 350D... i've tried a couple of times the Sigma 500 DG and i'm most happy about it.

Does anyone outthere knows or have flash from "Metz"? they look pretty solid and they are quite cheap compared with Sigma (imagine how much compared with Canon eheh)

Metz flasguns are made by Hasselblad, but I can't say personally how good they are. I can remember a friend of mine used to use one with his Nikon film camera (F4s I think), and he was the sort of person who always bought the best available no matter what price it was. But that was 10 years or more ago, and if you say they are cheaper than Sigma, then the quality might have changed as well.
