Raw file conversion comparison.

Hi all,

I've got a comparative result from 2 Raw software conversions between Photoshop CS and CaptureOne (PhaseOne) which might be useful for poeple who are shooting in Raw file format.

The Original image was converted using the CaptureOne while the Workshop version was converted by Photoshop CS.

Hy Din,

Interesting work that you made but let us not forget that the function first of PS CS is work of image not file conversion RAW.

I believe that you the finger puts on a major problem with files RAW, it is a little the paradise of anything.

Considering the price of the apparatus Canon why they doesnot give a pro version for the management of files RAW?

Before my EOS 10D I had a EOS 300D, today I reinstalled my PC and I haven’t the drivers of the 300D...

The drivers of 10 D is unable to read files RAW of the 300D, so if in of material from same arks is not compatible how want you as the plugs - in is with the Top ?

On the other hand the drivers of the 300D are able to read files RAW of the 10D !

Strange no ? No just Canon :-D

Travail intéressant que tu as fait mais n'oublions pas que la fonction première de PS CS est du travail d'image pas de la conversion de fichier RAW.

Je crois que tu met le doigt sur un problème majeur avec les fichiers RAW, c'est un peu le paradis du n'importe quoi.

Vu le prix des appareil pourquoi Canon ne livre t-il pas une version pro pour la gestion des fichiers RAW ?

Avant mon EOS 10D j'ai eu un EOS 300D , aujourd'hui j'ai réinstallé mon Pc et je n'ais plus les drivers du 300D ...

Le drivers du 10 D est incapable de lire les fichiers RAW du 300D alors si dans du matériel de même marque c'est pas compatible comment veux tu que les plugs-in soit au top ?

En revanche les drivers du 300D sont capable de lire les fichiers RAW du 10D , chercher l’erreur !
