Photos of pets tell me and others next to nothing about a place. Remember the goals of the site...

Well, since many people consider their pets to be part of their family, I feel the same issues exist as they do for family and friend shots. They don't really add to this site's mission of <i>learning about the world through photography</i>. It's just a personal pet peeve of mine I suppose.
