Just noticed that by clicking on the symbol (star, squared star, etc.) following a member's name you get a summary of the number of critiques and workshops presented and how they were received.

I'd like to know what people are considering a 'Not Useful'.

I know that you (Adam) don't want to directly reveal the 'Un-useful people' and start another food fight. Totally agree with you.

Is it possible that in some of your unlimited spare time you could give us a brief summary of what people don't like?

Are people upset by receiving criticism, are they finding empty praise un-useful, or something else?

On that subject, I suggest that you prevent the photographer from rating the critique they receive? There are some people who don't seem to like anything less than a "big green", and will mark you down accordingly for not giving them one... I think other people are more likely to be objective about a critique - what does everyone else think?

Thanks for outlining that by clicking on the star we can see the number of critiques that are considered useful or unusuful. I didn't notice that. Also noted that for a Workshop we can see the name of the person who found it useful. Would it be the same for someone who won't find it unusuful? I personally don't mind, I could ask this person her or his opinion on how it is unuseful and take it into consideration afterwards if there is a good reason for this unuseful rating.
I don't agree with Adrian (for the first time) concerning preventing someone from rating the critiques they received. I for one will appreciate a critique given by someone else and mainly if it suggests improvements to be made. It is my only way to show my gratitude for these suggestions by rating it as useful, even if there is no "big green". On the other hand I have the feeling that some people will clic useful only if the critique says "nice shot" without any suggestions. I consider these critiques as neutral, not useful but not unuseful. It is always appreciated to receive a "nice shot" comment but how is it useful ?

I would find it nice also if in our "account" there would be a link to the Workshops that people have sent us, sort of a "workshop received" like we have "critiques received". Some times people will make a workshop of one of my photos but I have no time to try to make the modifications suggested and now that I have more time to do so I would appreciate going back to these workshops and study them. I know that in our "photo" link we can go through all the photos posted and find the ones that have a "workshop" link but that takes a lot of time.

"I would find it nice also if in our "account" there would be a link to the Workshops that people have sent us, sort of a "workshop received""

Please check out 'My Account' -> 'Manage' -> 'Workshop Photos Received' to see workshops created on one's photos. Unless you mean something else?

'..."nice shot" without any suggestions. I consider these critiques as neutral'.

I personally consider these "critiques" not useful, in fact I don't even consider them critiques at all. As soon as I implement a 'comment' feature, I may decide to move such 'critiques' to a comment instead. Comments won't have a rating component. Of course, 'nice shot' followed by an insightful comment on the photo I do find useful.

Gee, again I didn't look well. Sorry. I find it would easier though to have it next to the "critiques received" and "critiques written" on the first page of My Account.

Don't feel bad. I never noticed that functionality before either.

OK, I'll add this in eventually. Thanks for the idea.
