I just thought of something. I was just reading a Worshop with the long description of how the picture was corrected and wanted to take notes of all the technical details to try to improve myself with PS. I just said to myself "would it be wonderful if I could just print this page" and bring it home instead of copying all the information. Would that be feasable to have a Print Page button, would that be too much work to do. I'm sure others would appreciate this feature.
Well Nina, the feature is already installed in web browsers, I can't speak for all versions of Explorer, but I've just tried it using WindowsXP and it works fine, the page is printed as a normal document, i.e the browser formats it as a white page with black text and any colour images that are on the page.
Go to File/Print to try it or File/Print preview to see what it will look like printed.

Thanks Mike, Funny you were the one to answer because it was when I was looking at one of your WS, the one with the japonese musicians (in pink) that I tried to print the text.
I've tried what you said Print Preview and it prints on two different pages and the text is cut off to the right on the second page. I am using Windows XP also at work. Did not try it at home yet where I only have Windows 98.
Hi Nina, select to print in panorama layout style, that should do the trick :)
Edit to add:
Sorry, that should be portrait style, choose page setup to access it!
I'm going daft, it must be the heat today... LANDSCAPE style! LOL

That hot ? here too it's quite hot but I'm working in a air conditioned office so I won't feel it until I get home.
I did what you said, choose "landscape" and it those work. However, I have to select page 4, because the first page there is only the heading, the second page the "ads by google" part, the third page, it's the image, and finally, the fourth page is the comments.
It does work however but I still think that a print page button would be nice, if it could make me print on one page the photo and the comments. I've seen this feature on other sites (not necessarely photo sites) and I find it great. But I don't know anything about website programming so maybe it's too much work to do it, and I will stick with the solution you gave me. Thanks.
Yes, that hot! even hotter than yesterday, phew...
Here's a sneaky little trick that may help out if you want to try printing in portrait mode, but it only works if you have a wheel mouse, if you hold down the CTRL key and scroll your wheel you can make the text appear smaller or larger, it works on all websites, make it as small as it will go, and then try printing once more, I just tried and all but the last letter appears, but if the margins were adjusted I bet even that could be made to appear too!
As you say ideally a print screen button would be the best solution.

Wow, that's a cool trick Mike, thanks, can't really get the complete text in one page but nevertheless this trick will help me in other occasions.
"Would that be feasable to have a Print Page button"
Which page would you like to see as a 'Print Page'? Would you want the thumbnails displayed, or the fullsize image(s) displayed with the description? I may do this in the future. Would anyone else be interested in having this 'print page' feature?
In the meantime, I hope to have an interesting feature related to the workshops available by tomorrow. Stay tuned...

I thought about the fullsize image with the description of how it was done. Maybe thumbnails would be better ? See if others have the same need as I have. I'm eager to see your new feature for workshop. Thanks for your reply.

Yes, please a "print page" something, particularly for workshops as I too many times wanted to follow great intstructions in order to learn more.....

OK, there is now a [print] link on the main workshop page which will bring up a simple print-mode page with thumbnail images and notes. Please let me know if you'd like it to look differently. Thanks.

Thanks, that works well, it will be valuable to easily print a WS and instructions given for further reference.
