    Caro Klaudio

Shearing sheds are such fantastic subjects, but sadly they are becoming a rarity. So this photo is a real treasure. I like the low light and the inclusion of the man tending the sheep. The warm wooden tones and play of light and shade is exquisite. If you are ever near Toowoomba in Queensland, there's a wonderful old shearing shed at Jondaryan.

Hope you're keeping well, thanks for sharing

I love the character of these old buildings. You took them on a great angle and their illuminated beautifully. The colours are delightful and the inclusion of the little lad with the bike is delightful.

    Dear Craig

Well, er the "hand" of God was not the first body part that came to mind when I saw this photo ;) But it's given me a good laugh. I love the play on words. I gather you're not a soccer lover, as the Hand of God in the 1986 World Cup Final is something many of us will never forget. I still have English friends that haven't recovered from it :) SEE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ccNkksrfls.

A beautiful photo, with an impressive wide angle POV. Good onya for choosing the B&W. You're right about them not being as "popular" but this certainly looks more artistic and professional than in colour.

    Cheers

One of the less common angles of this beautiful icon. I love the soft warm light, the haze and of course the stunning reflections. You create a wonderful perspective and symmetry here. The story behind this wonderful act of love comes to life in this photo.

    Old dear Ana

There is beauty in all the ugliness. When I think of what Man is doing to the Earth in his neverending desire to take its minerals, I truly despair. The saddest part is that these men are also being exploited by the wealthy corporations in an effort to remain alive. The image is beautiful but heart-rending.

Awww this is a beauty. Even though I'm not an admirer of cars, I certainly can appreciate the beauty, elegance and timelessness of this shot. And being a HUGE fan of Art Deco, this is right up my alley. Beautiful perspective, wonderful vibrant colours and geometries. A change from your spectacular wild landscapes, but a good one.

This beautiful barocque architecture reminds me so much of Sicily, particularly Palermo. But when I think of the geographical proximity and the history they share, this is hardly surprising. Beautiful warm colours and light. I like the vertical frame and the way you have accentuated the perspective.

    Gidday Craig

I saw this beautiful place on yours and Tosca's Instagram, but this photo does it a lot more justice. Wow, what a place. Certainly worth the knee-breaking hike up there eh? I just love the colours of that glacial lake. There's nothing like that colour in the entire world and it's something I've only ever seen in New Zealand. Fantastic perspective and compositional skills here. I know what you're saying about the sharpness here on TE. They need to do something about that. To me, the photo is immaculate regardless of technical problems.

I thought of you and your train fetish when I was in Parkes last week. They had an old locomotive there, the Spirit of Parkes. I tried to take a good photo of it but failed dismally. So I appreciate the quality and skill that has gone into this photo of yours. Excellent vivid colours, great sharpness, an excellent POV and a beautiful landscape to frame your most interesting subject. I couldn't ask for much more than that, could I?

hahahaha you are very brave. Taking photos of people is always very confronting for me. But taking photos of angry men brandishing sharp knives is extremely scary. Dear Rosemary

Your choice of B&W for this was brave, well-thought out and totally appropriate. We are used to seeing Africa in all its blazing, exotic colour. But this is monochrome for a very compelling reason. It is a message we must all see, no matter how sad and disturbing it is. The elephant is one of the most intelligent and beautiful animals on Earth. That humans - and humans alone - are responsible for the demise of such noble creatures, makes my heart ache. Your photo will stay with me for all those reasons, in addition to that it is one of extraordinary quality. Thank you for sharing it.

Wow, I've worked out that I am your evil twin when it comes to an appreciation of windswept coastline. This photo says it all and I'm so glad you chose B&W which has really accentuated those wild textures. The razor sharp rocks jutting out from the misted-up water are pure poetry. This photo oozes that wild untamed beauty, which is getting rarer and rarer in the world.

What a lovely reminder of that special time, one I will never forget. I love the purplish/blue hues, not something we often see, as it is usually very sunny and/or cloudless. The first sprinkle of city lights are a lovely contrast and tell a local that this is the beginning of Blue Hour.

Well this fishmonger certainly looks a lot saner than Malgo's fishman. But it's the quiet ones you've gotta watch. Lucky Malgo getting this beautiful dedication, I'm jealous ;) That net of mussels in the main photo and that little crab in your Workshop would look very nice in my pot, with some oil, garlic, parsley and chilli. Excellent work and I must say that the definition and sharpness your lovely, pricey 24-70mm lens achieves makes it worth every cent and has really put me in a quandary.
