    Hi Jose
yes, I remember this spot well!
    How was your experience here?
We were told by so many people to arrive early to avoid the crowds...um...that was the WORST time to arrive because everybody had the same idea!

we enjoyed the sights but really were turned off by how busy and crowded it was here.

excellent shot, has a lot of sharpness and definition.
love the royal blue skyline for contrast.
    nice shot
    cheers

    Hi Gigi
    very interesting indeed.
a unique twist on a Palace.
for obvious reasons the red colors catch our attention right away from the gallery page.
really enjoy the silhouettes of people in the lower fg, it helps to put things into perspective that way.

    awesome colors and subject choice.

    Hi Maria
wow! thats one seriously DEEP lake! thats over 5000 feet deep. I wonder whats living down there :)

its amazing how photo can create such different moods, here in this one it feels so lonely and alone because of the wide open spaces - there is a real minimalist feel to it.

    nice shot indeed

like Jason has already commented to you, is it Halloween yet!? Because it surely does from this photo, although i may not enter through these gates to get my candy!

    interesting history indeed.
    those Damn Vikings! lol

great looking shot that creates a wonderful atmsophere because of the black and whites. It really does have a spooky mood to it.

    Hi Eleu
its funny to think this plane was such a great fighter in the air because here it looks kind of fat and stubby and overweight!

I guess it just has that look to it, rather than a sleek slim look.

love seeing the Pilot, and the large Red Star is great for the image too.
    nicely done

    Hi Serge
an interesting piece of Canadian history in this scene.

I wonder whats inside that house/building on the left, it seems to be in great condition on the outside.

the only thing that seems to be missing in this scene are people mining for gold and a watermill :)

    Hi Brian
this seems to be the "IN-THING" now adays, rebuilding old docks and marinas or rebuilding old warehouses into appartments...its 'cool' and hip to live in such areas.

and I have to admit, it does sound cool to live in these industrial type of settings - very different.

I can see why you chose this pov, with the reflections staring us down in the middle.

great cloud coverage and overall rustic type of feel.
    nice shot

    Hi Asa
I know the photo isn't the sharpest because of the very slow shutter, but we've all been here in that regard!

I had to pick this one out of your gallery simply because of the large gold ball with the Man stading on top of it - what the heck is that!

Its almost as if it doesn't belong in the scene, and they are lost lol

very interesting and weird! glad you captured it.

    Hi Gert
Time Machine here we come! Love these time machine photos - just like everyone else.

Oh how the world has changed huh Gert.
On a side note, its amazingly stupid how countries are at war with each other. I've said it dozens of times and i'll say it again - we are the human race, at the top of the food chain, yet we are basically the only species stupid enough to kill each other.

I often think boundries, countries, religion...they are all dividers, separating people...the world should be 1 solid country bringing people together.

Oh well, we're not going to solve the worlds issues today on TE :)

here we have a photo that may be near impossible to achieve today. Not quite sure what they're doing here or what they're cooking up, but its an interesting collection.

    nice shot and story

thats funny, as I was reading the note I was thinking to myself how much i'm going to enjoy seeing even more City skylines...then you say you've come to and end with it!

Well that sucks! I guess I wanted to see more cities.

Classic European skyline here with the steep red rooftops and tall churches dominating the sky.

yup, you certainly caught me off guard with this one.
I would never have guessed in a million years that this photo was taken near or at Stonehedge.

See, we learn something new each and evey day!

maybe its an illusion, but this Veranda seems to go on for a long long distance.
the grey sky seems to copy the color of it too.
unique subject to post, i like it.
