    Hello Juliette

A really interesting "found" photograph. I suppose you could say that the design is the work of the shop window display artist, but you had to see it, realise its photographic potential, frame it and make it into an image. I like this a lot!

    Hi Chris
very cool and very interesting information in your note, i enjoyed that read. and for some reason its great to see these failed attempts! Just goes to show that they had a learning curve to go through as well.

I wonder if anyone died when the inside of the pyramid collapsed?

and I would never have known this was over 300 feet high unless you mentioned it, there's nothing around it for scale.

awesome historical note and subject for TE

    Hi Luciano
I can honestly say that you are probably the only person who has come back from Naples with this for on TE :)
and thats a good thing. always great to see new and different subjects.

Quite the unique subject for sure, lots of cool old textures and grit! I love grit and dirty walls haha

    Hello Fabiano

Stupendous architecture. For some reason, Milan is generally known for its industry, fashion, and football; a photograph like this redresses the balance a bit! Lovely shot.

A lovely double portrait. Isn't it strange how sometimes backs can be so eloquent? And I love the space you've allowed around the couple, which allows us to see the environment.

    Hello Pavle

Now I like wine, so this photograph is close to my heart! You have chosen a good viewpoint that accentuates the perspective of the long lines of vines. I wonder what grape variety is grown here: I'm guessing they're a red grape variety.

    Hi Mariusz
haha...i have some great memories from this place! I remember it quite well.

the most memorable thing was our tour guide, she had a thick Polish accent that was so hard to understand we didn't get much info out of the tour :)

    but we enjoyed the sights.
looking at your shot, i like seeing the patterns on the floor/ground. and because I've been here, I know how hard it is to take photos, yours has turned out pretty darn good!

    Hello Craig

For me the subdued colours, due to the "poor" light, actually enhance the shot: I'm made to look at form and pattern, which in the end is what this image is all about. But then I would probably have done a monochrome treatment on it anyway! Excellent graphic shot.

    Hello Angel

This is a lovely scene. I particularly like the contrasts between the dark, shaded foreground and the sunlit hills and valley beyond. The village is a not-quite silhouette against the mountainscape. Very attractive Winter scene.

I'm really enjoying these views of Berlin you've taken.
the wide angle presentation sets it apart from all the other shots. love the wide open feeling to the squares with the buildings set back.

    Hi Fabiano
A decent shot of this hardy looking tree exposed to the elements - fully agree with your statement- providing natural shades and shadow. But the shape is quite interesting too, and it fits into the compo effectively inviting viewers to explore the bigger area of the frame. The warm light, colours and exposure are spot on. Well doe shot, Congrats
