Levente, viewed from my part, I'm not too sure you took all the advantage of this scene.
Firstly if I share your love for Tuscany, I don't see here what color brings to the scene which is mostly a play of shapes, as I see it.

I would propose some reframing, and most of all putting into a nice BW version that would enhance the play of geometry and contrast. You said time capsule, why then not encapsulated it in time with a warm BW tone. see my WS....
Edit later on: ok no WS allowed on your photo.. then no WS it will be. :)

Absolutely lovely and different take on Paris. It's quite daring to make a good photo with whitish subject I would just, point that 1- the left frame profiles need to have a good look to distinguish them, 2- I am not sure about what the yellowish frame enhances. or if it improves anything.

Other than that, I am afraid that most members in this site won't recognize the aesthetics in your photos.

yes I absolutely agree with the colors of your shot.
Looks like a Epson test frame for their printers.

1600 ISO with an "old generation" sensor mushes a bit the details of your photo, at f/16, 1/400 you had plenty of room for instance to reduce to f/8 (stick to that aperture, usually the best optical rendition), 1/250 and ISO 200 and a baby butt noise free color. That's where the only flaws of your photo lay.

other than that, even the composition based on perpective is magic. very good shot.

Well, johan, don't take it too wholeheartedly, but I can't see any point in your photo.
Let's forget the "learning the world" thingy, as you cannot even remind of the statue name. As for an artistic approach (call it aesthetics or whatever), I will hardly subscribe to what seems like a random try with overblown fuzzy droplets than a really structured image.

    Sorry for the mark. ;)

Sorry, I react slowly. First task completed! but that was the not the dirtiest work of the three... ;)))

I see that even in Turkey, diamonds are a girl's best friend... She is indeed very very nice looking (probably noticing her fine make up and smile, very conscious of her effects) , you were lucky to stumble on a Monica Bellucci look alike at Istanbul Bazaar.

Photowise, I don't even understand why you kept it RVB, for me there is no doubt it should be BW, it's probably a tad blown out on the rings side, Personally I think I would have kept a wide view ESPECIALLY if the whole surroundings were put in total darkness like it seems to.

Aziyade she is, so how can I give you less than a full smile :)

    Yes, that's an amazing composition that always work : isn't you're reverse "S" called a "Z" btw ;D...
It takes us seamlessly from the bottom to the top and therefore gives a huge depth to the whole image. On the nitpick side, I wouldn't mind a little more action with the bottom character though, but probably no dogs, cyclists or joggers on this part of the wharf ;) and the time you set up a dog running after a cylist in the bottom right corner, that line of dark luggage, so critical for the photo, would have been sailing the channel.

Hey... Mabul...always a joy to remind Mabul & Sipadan. Although, it's funny to see Mabul as an attractive beach resort like in your photo, taken from SMART beach (the 3rd expensive resort on Mabul on top of SWV and Borneo divers -my favorite-).

Looks there are no more bajau boats around there were always plenty anchored near the pier twice I went.

Hahaha, so fan of the wine that he's even cut his glasses out of the bottle ass.
that's a funny portrait but while I'm not so enamoured with the general browny yellow colors, probably a conversion to BW would have been the best solution to go straight to the point. Just wondering...

TrekEarth second most awaited upload only after a new Beatles album. Peter finally raised from his grave a little faster than Lennnon and Harrison (although the photo finish reveals that if George didn't trip John up, we would be singing a brand new version of "All you need is love" on Trekearth... but who cares in the end...).

That photo is for me Peter, right? Staying on my path of my Beatles imaginary museum, it looks to me like the Apple logo on the old vinyls, remember?
I mean : not Apple like Mac, you ignorant nerds! Apple records like Macca and the band : the flashing green apple on a black background, does this ring a bell to your geek ears?

Anyway, I'll take as it comes, I love the dynamic of the colors. I find green and black is very energetic, tho a bit sicko and quite gothic in the end. But I know Peter wears platform boots and heavy piercing when he walks the dog, hence it doesn't shock me at all.

I also appreciate this attempt becasue I was two months ago in the same situation : trying a new experience with landscape photography (and even photographying a flower! Hell noooo...).
Hence I can understand Peter's feelings while he was claiming medieval poetry by this brook, a crown of meadow flowers around his head, and playing on his harp with celtic elves.
Fortunately some trash gave him a breath.

You've done good Peter, now you can step forward and focus on... studio stills.

By a matter of luck, as I had recently noticed you belonged to the Iranian group, I was wondering whether it was a sly move from you trying to buy petrol cheaper, or a smart move from Ahmadinejjad to get his hand on the radioactive stuff included in your portfolio... but in the end, I choked with laughter on my morning coffe.

Ok Cristian, this usually produces "generally" nice pictures with an easy effect, but as its novelty twist has now faded I must go to the real point of the image.

I agree that the colorful reflections on the droplets add a bonus but what makes the better photos of this kind is that you can clearly guess the scene behind while leaving it out of focus.
The central silhouettes would have been perfectly appropriate and understandable characters with their umbrella wide open, but you chose a broader view which makes them too small and lost within the frame, hence the background loses interest and becomes quite uneasy to read.

Sorry but overall this one doesn't go to the top for this reason.

You had your subject, it was really good, they were coming staright to your lens... but unfortunately the background won over the subject itself.
The background is so important in photography, that's what makes the difference between an interesting photography (this one) and a great photography. You see that group of women in the top right handside corner? I simply can't remove my eyes fril this group. That's is where your phot oloses strength.

"To keep it like this, i will not tell where exactly it is"
The kind of super stupid thoughts I read all day long on Lonely Planet forums, usually coming from travelers who have endlessly been asking for tips but who try to show off somehow with the little they know.
If you think a bit, you know that very few people will go there, because most of teh people are just too lazy or too frighten to travel out of the beaten trails.
(and btw, it doesn't seem that deserted, from the speedboat I can see in the background and which looks nothing like a local fishing boat)

If you don't want to share, then this site is not for you.. you would better then write something else than your note which is then very uninformative
As for me I think your photo sucks a bit, but I won't tell you exactly why... :)
