    Hello Dear Constantino,

    This is a beautiful setting.
No wonder the lady has stopped to gaze and absorb the scenery.

For your part, you have composed the shot extremely well, the lady situated off-centre and with the gap in the rocks, attracting her gaze, situated on a diagonal from her view.
Your use of b&w gives it a period charm.

    My warm regards,
    Bev :-)

    Hello Ike,

This seems like a lovely, calm day for a rowing lesson! The position of the man-in-charge brings back recollections of a pirate chief, commanding his men to row stronger back to their ship ... do I live in a dream world!

It's a very original shot, well composed and with bright colours to attract the eyes, both on the rowing boat and on the ship.

    My warm regards,
    Bev :-)

    Hello Serge,

I never cease to be entranced by Strasbourg! It is a city full of beautiful buildings, canals and flower decorations!
You have shown us evidence of all of these features in your photograph.
Your use of the f/g triangle has given depth, across the canal to the details of the timber-framed houses. It's interesting that part of the walkway appears to be on stilts, whilst the rest is solid.

    Thank you for sharing this,
    Bev :-)

    Hello Stephen,

You have tried hard to show us the beautiful decorations on the veranda. It is so difficult from this angle as we are desperate to see the repeating colourful arches on the back wall, too, but you have given enough evidence to convince us of the attractiveness of the building.
I love the colours and what looks like a highly decorative family crest.

    Kind regards,
    Bev :-)

    Hello Rob,
By bringing us so close to the cabins you cut them off from the surroundings of the city and transform them into some kind of half abstract elements that seem more connected with space. the silhouettes of the passengers create a rather strange atmosphere from the world of s/f.
Thank you again for taking your time with me today, and thanks a lot for the beers. I enjoyed our little meeting very much.
    Kind regards,
    Gert

    Hello Lars,
This photo shows that it's not necessarily the famous and most visited places that offer the best photo opportunities. You found several fine shooting-angles in this little town that nobody had heard of. The light was very good to.
Det var väldigt trevligt att träffa er båda i dag. Tack för att ni tog er tid att ta hand om mig några timmar.
    Hälsningar från Gert

    Hello Nicolas,

I hope that the translator has worked correctly, to tell me that this is part of a nursing home! I imagined that it was a home made from a huge barrel that someone had adapted for a summer house!
It's use is not that important when discussing photography and what is important is your excellent, sharp exposure and fine composition. All the features are strongly placed in the frame.
The dappled light is quite enchanting.

    My warm regards,
    Bev :-)

    Hello Noel,

When I read the title, I thought you were referring to yourself as the voyager ... having returned from your tour of Hungary!

It is minimalistic but still carries great strength from the strong positioning of the statue and the sun, with no other distractions in the frame.

    Ciao caro Luciano,

This is a most expansive note, to accompany your photograph and gives a very good account of what could be seen and enjoyed at this interesting location.
I know your love of beaches and, in this instance, you have expanded your view to include boats and buildings, too.
It looks like a cosey and beautiful place, the natural beauty to enjoy but without being inundated with people selling trinkets!
I like how you have composed the photograph, the red of the boat and of the house, linking nicely.

    My warm regards,
    Bev :-)

    Hello Ally,
A good high point of view for this presentation of a part of the Forbidden City.
You enjoyed beautiful weather in Beijing. That makes the colours look so attractive.
I note that the number of visitors has increased a lot since the time that I was there.

    Hello Malgo,
If I were guessing, I would have thought the man in my photo was real, and the one in your photo was a statue - but it was the opposite. :-) Nice capture of this living bronze; he has done a great job making himself look like a sculpture.

    Hello Miro,

It appears that we were in Australia about the same time. We came to Sydney on 12 Feb. and left 15 for Brisbane and a cruise. It's always a pleasure to see through another driver's rear mirror a site so very far and different than mine. If it weren't for a few shrubbery, that this is a desolate section of the planet.

    Warm regards,

    Bulent

Lighting conditions were evidently not very easy as is often the case inside churches. Nevertheless, you have managed to bring out the colours and detail in some of these frescoes to good effect.

    Hi Gert
How beautiful the morning light is in Algeria! It saturates the colours and makes them truly stand out. The shadows make the photos look truly 3D.
The people standing by the truck look well wrapped up and a good illustration of the conditions you are talking about in your note.
34 years ago... I bet the landscape has not changed a bit... Probably neither have the means of transport.
    Best wishes
    Kasia
