    Hey Lisa,
This looks like some sort of abstract modern artwork, life imitating art! It also looks like one of those crystals you get in herbal shops.it's a beautiful image, and u would never guess from looking at it that a plague of our buzzy winged friends would try and ruin the fun. I have to ask though, how the heck did you get this angle? Be honest, you rented a hot air balloon didn't you :)
Beautiful picture of a surreal landscape.
    Happy Sunday!

P.S. Sorry I'm a bit slack on Te at the moment, work is really getting in the way of life at the moment!

    Hi Costantino,
I have heard of this island, but I think this is the first time I have seen it, and you present it in a beautiful way. As well as the vast expanse of the white buildings, that ship is magnificent. It's blue stripe is a perfect touch against the deep blue water which itself is such a cool contrast to the white buildings. Really nice shot, thanks for sharing.

    Hi Omid,
Neve shot, this little lonely cloud is almost like a space ship floating above the land. For me, I am used to seeing the whole sky be filled with thundery rain clouds, so it's very rare that I would ever see a blue sky with one soilitary fluffy occupant like this. Nicely caught and one of those moments you must be happy to have your camera to hand.

    Hi Lisa,
Of course your note make me smile, the best photos are the ones you only remember when you check your memory card :)
I love the warm tones of the light across this building, though the building looks a little spooky to me, the dark windows look a little eerie, and I can't help but think if I s a ghost looking for a new house, this would defintitely be on my maybe list. Your placement of the steps is excellent, really inviting the eye into the shot. Cool place, cool note and photo
    Cheers again

    Hey Lisa,
You know, after a craptacular day in work with people shouting at me since 8am, this is just the kind of photo I need to see. Even looking at it now, my very soul is going aaaahhhhhhhh. A stunning mixof colors and shades and tones and light, something so beautiful you can tell instantly that it could never be man made and has to be nature playing .you were very lucky to be here for this warm moving moment, and of course the shutterbug in you made sure you could share it with the world.
    Cheers from the soggy rock.

    Hi Craig,
I wouldn't say sorry for this, what a cool post of one of the worlds most well known icons. Beautiful place and you captured such excellent detail in the exterior marble work which is so often not visible in many shots.
I like your note about coming home to this place too, I can just hear it now "Mumtaz, I'm home....how was your day dear? " haha, not every day you envisage yourself going home to an Indian princess. Great shot, and great workshop, as much as I like this postcard style photo, I do really really like the quirky angle with the tower reaching off into the distance.
    Cheers, have a good weekend.

This is a beautiful place, and you did a great job to balance the light, I know I would have either had indoors in darkness or exterior completely blown out. Very nice result, and the composition is really good. Fine architectural details all over.

    Hi Bev,
The blueberries of strawberry wood, what a name! That should be a children's book, haha. And I didn't even notice this year that it's bluebell season, partly because it feels like it hasn't stopped raining in Ireland for the past several hundred years, but also because I find these flowers a pain in the neck to actually find. Maybe it's the lack of forest in Ireland, but there is only one place I know of to get shots like this, and even then, they wouldn't be clusters of them like this. You mention the fine light at this time of year, and displayed a great example.
Thanks as always, have a great week.

    Bonjour Gigi,
What a place. Such an iconic view and it makes me smile as the tower looks like it is leaning in just to be you photo I visited Pisa a numb of years ago and thought it one of the most beautiful cities I had ever seen. As I walked into this area to see the tower, I was really pleasantly surprised but the cathedral too, a fantastic building. Your photo captures that really nicely. The muted light works well too, as there are great colors in the sky and grass.
    Best wishes.

    Hi Malgo,
Beautiful artwork, and it's amazing to think these marbles are so old, no wonder this couple are stopped and enjoying the work. This is like a scene from a gallery. My own preference between the two photos is the one you did post as the main one, I am liking more and more to e people in photos. Here, the man and woman have body language that says they really appreciating the marble work and deservedly so. That appreciation of the two gives me a more somber appreciation for them myself. I zoomed into the marble on the workshop and the data really is amazing.
    I hope all is well.

    Hi Omid,
Very beautiful sky, the reds are so rich. The setting sun gives so many opportunities to the photographer, well done to capture this one. Te way it fades almost to black at the top is really nice too, making the scene quite dramatic.

    Hi Antonio,
That's a very impressive building, it reminds me of a great renaissance cathedral. Really good choice of black and white too, it has brought beautifull tomes and activity to the sky and has made the parked cars seem Ike a natural part of the scene. I guess in color they would have been quite distracting, but not at all in mono. Informative and beautiful photo, thanks,

    Hi Frank,
The architecutre does entice me, I love the old but I do have a thing for the new too, especially new and big like this. Once of the things I love about these glass towers is ow they can reflect the world and colors around them, and there are, some beautiful examples of that in the metallic exterior finish and the huge window on the right. The buildings blocks the view of the colors of the sky behind, but gives back by reflecting it on its windows. Very nice place and photo.

    H Walter,
That's brilliant. I have read of this crash before, and seen photos, so it's brilliant that a train museum would create such a display feature. Nice touch that there is smoke too, making it look like the engine has just crashed through the wall. Great place and photo, thanks for sharing.

    Hi Ike,
This is a really unusual and eye catching shot, I really like that the far doorway is not in the centre, as this view you chose gives a lot more dimension to the view. The colors are very moody the light is managed really well. There seems to be something rather spooky about this view. Thanks for sharing.

    Hi Eleu,
A very nice shot of this huge warplane, and your whole idea for the photo ties in perfectly with your note, I an see from this huge menacing almost silhouette why people would be intimidated just on seeing these. I imagine it's how a baby duck feels when he looks up from the lake and sees a hawk. The combination of straight into the sun shooting and the plane makes this really eye catching, nicely done.

This is a great photo and I am once again spooked out by the blank dead eyes of that mask, really cool. I imagine it is very unusual to get the combination of the old castle and the costume like this, a great photo. I'd love something as bizarre as this in my collection. Great series of this event.

That train is in great condition and I like that you timed it for the steam done low which gives a nice sense of energy. The colors of the train engine are cool too, very evil and like something out of a batman film, but it's balancd by the yellow and green carriages. Classic vehicle and great backdrop too.

    Hi Craig,
The main post and workshop make a great pair of photos, such a different atmosphere in each. The graffiti here is rather weird, but looks Ike it's done by talented artists, while the second photo has the fine modern building and the well placed man in red. The color of the building is really unusual too, it's the kind of color snazzy kitchen appliances are available in, but it works vy icely on that building. Cool, Bergen is a place u know little of, a pleasure to view it in your gallery.
