    Hey Jason,
So you did get to see them spell it Jason on Catherine wheels I hope? I really do hope do, as it's not cheap to set this up, but I'm sure the people who did will be happy to know that you did see it. Hahaha, I like the idea of this being a welcome sign. If you ever visit Ireland, how am I supposed to top that? Perhaps 100 leprechauns doing river dance on the wing of your plane?
Great scene, I know ow hard fireworks are to photograph and I have never successfully done it, so really do appreciate this. The towers and statues make great points of interest too, and I would not have noticed the power lines in the dark. I like this a lot,
    Slainte

    Hi Ourania,
A tantalising look at the gret mansion, and a great result in the image, it makes my mind want to see more of this great house, especially when seen with your note. I always love great abanondoned mansions, and as sad to see them fall apart, it's still a great photo subject. The texture of the walls here seems quite well kept so I guess it has some life left yet,
The composition of the trees is fascinating too, from the thumbnail I thought it resembled a large globe of some sort. Nicely done.
    Cheers

    Ciao Carlo

    Hi Angel,
What a place :) like a fairy tale town come to life, I can easily imagine a gingerbread man walking down this lane, accompanied by any manner of childrens characters. It is so great to see these heritage places so well maintained, and to create such a fantastic view. Love the range of colors and the view you chose here, it really sums up the feel of this place.

    Hi Malgo
An incredible place, you have shared a really wonderful post today. These silver domes glitter like fine jewels in the sun and against this vivd blue sky, superb building. Very nicely composed too, placing the main building off centre has left lots of space for more buildings of interest and more color. Really nicely done.

    hi Lesie,
A very nice shot of these big hairy horses, and as Bev mentioned above, the perfect view of them, the angle the space they have all works so perfectly well. A beautiful dily life scene
I am guessing they have been using Loreal too, their hair looks like its been achieved with the help of some overly expensive hair potions :)

    Hi Craig,
This lovely ladies bemused face reminds me a lot of my own mum, that bashfulness but with a hint of good humour, I like this a lot. It's nice that she agreed to be your subject, as she does add an element of magic into your view. It's always great to see a place like this, and in the same breath, see the true people who live there. Nicely done, a photo to make anybody smile.

    Hi Swapan,
An excellent capture of this piece of history, so unlike castles that I see in Ireland, do appeals to me even more. Even the crenellations look exotic to me :)
There is a great sen of the size of this place as you caught so much of the long facade but also the depth with these white towers reaching into the distance. I really like the tree in the composition too, nicely placed on thirds. Great post,
    Cheers

    Hi Omid
interesting building and a good angle to shoot from, I like the backlight and how you managed it.
I would suggest rotating the image a little counter clockwise to straighten it up, and perhaps cropping off the reflection of the clothing to the left. Even if we only seen the fašade of the building, it still has great depth because of the angle.

    Hi Brian,
These old ships always look great when they are shown close to the coast, and instead of this being in front of a rocky craggy backdrop of cliffs, you have it against a modern cliff face of these highrise buildings, an excellent modern take on the idea. The colors and light are once again beautiful in this, and it looks like a classical painting. Cool boat, you got some amazing pictures of it!

    hi Eleu
Beautiful close up of this little fragile creature, its colors are amazing, and as beautiful as they are, the red and black make it look a little evil! I have never seen an evil butterfly before :)
Great choice to leave in the surroundings as you have too, the greenery is well lit and is the perfect pedestal.

Great to see you post. This is a nice view of this canal, especially so in how you have captured such a great sense of depth as we look beyond the ship in the foreground to the canal reaching into the distance. Great idea for a composition.

A nice result, the aurora is of course great, but I like the light squiggles at the bottom too. I love the idea of this being taken on a boat in stormy seas, it gives a really special appeal to the result.

    Hi Gyorgy,
A perfect title for this stunning view. The effect of the clouds and light in the sky really does give this a heavenly feel, and the Ates themselves are very intricate and enhance the feeling. That there is no wall alongside the gates gives it a magical feel.
As much as I would love to also see the color version of this picture, I think your choice in making this black and where is inspired, it works perfectly.

I agree totally with Daniel, this is an amazing sky, and you captured a perfect view of it. The buildings reaching into the sky give a real disaster movie feel, while the golden light of the lamp is perfectly positioned against this doom laden storm. I love this, a really powerful view.

What a wonderful building, and one I learn about today for the first time, so thanks for sharing your knowledge.
