    Dear Andrew

What a great shot of these ghoulish looking zombies doing selfies. It really is an excellent double portrait. Beautiful vivid colours and superb definition. These zombies have more life and more heart in them than any of our idiot politicians at the moment. I hope you're keeping cool and calm.

    Cheers

    Ciao cara Itchy Feet

Ahhh this reminds me of old post cards you find in an antique shop. A timeless and very classy shot of Paris, and but for the modern cars, could be from any epoch. A stunning photo, congratulations. One of my favourites in your Gallery.

    Hugs

    Dear Danos

What a magnificent garden and palace. You certainly found the best place to view it all and have delivered a superb photo. The symmetry and perspective are flawless and the inclusion of the people give us an excellent sense of size and scale. Thanks for sharing.

    Ciao Craig

I loved Modica and I'm glad to see you found the viewpoint where you can see the whole city. The textures and tones of the roof tops are magical and the little red car is a beautiful contrast. Fantastic shot, congratulations. Thanks for sharing, now you're making me homesick for Italy.

    Hi Bev.
Meticulous well proportioned composition and a good exposure of the sky. I haven't been to Roscoff, but here it looks faintly like St-Malo, from this angle. Those rocks create a strong foreground feature in the bottom right corner. Your photo makes me think a return to Brittany is due very soon.

    Hello Silvio.
A very good architectural shot, with lovely soft lighting and nice colour tones. I think you removed the lens distortion, which creates a pleasing view looking straight at the old church building. Nice work.

    Hello Piotr.
Another excellent photo from your elevated position in the Tatra. Very good exposure, which is always difficult when there's a lot of snow in the composition. The two people on the chair lift make a good focal point. The scene has great depth.

    Hi Benny.
An appealing shot, closely framed and with the registration plate the only thing hinting at what it is. I'd have guessed it to be a boat. I travelled around Thailand a lot many years ago, and remember that each bus had a little 'shrine' at the front beside the driver's seat. The driver would get on, kneel down before Buddha and say a prayer or something for all on board, then proceed to drive like a maniac through the jungles.

A very good daily life photo, almost a group portrait really. These people look happy and healthy, and I wonder how much autonomy they have these days from the nation's central government. I found the information in the note very interesting..

    Hello May.
A very effective photo which conveys a strong sense of the early hour and the atmosphere of the place and the environment. Like Gert, I was there forty years ago, in 1976. I have some old slide photos of the stupas, but I know they are not as good as this one.

    Hi Ludo.
Simple but good. Even without the bicycle it would be very atmospheric and the pattern of trees would hold our interest.Y You framed it with the pink bike in a good position. Of course, we wonder where the bike's rider is. Nice work.

A lovely photo, showing your usual meticulous composition skills. Strong diagonals, and a delightful colour to fill the bottom right corner. The pattern of roof-tops is eye-catching too, and the distant hills create a pleasing sense of distance.

    Hello Ourania.
A lovely photo taken from a very good vantage point. The framing effect and the pattern of bollards on the side of the road create a strong perspective. Here in Australia, we notice the spring coming a little earlier every year because of global warming.

    Hello Mariusz.
A superb landscape photo in wonderful light. The slanting rays of the sun below a threatening sky always make for a great photo if you expose it well, which you have done here. Great vantage point to capture the scene and the reflection. Beautiful presentation and a good note.

    Hi Lisa.
Hope the heat's not getting to you, nor the BS which pours from the mouth of our esteemed PM.
Anyway, chocolate and cheese seems almost certain, to my mind, to ruin both of these great pleasures of life. Is it the Irish answer to some of those American concoctions, which usually involve peanut butter, or the deep fried Mars Bar? I'm not going to comment on the superb sharpness, colour, composition and all that, because I don't think you really had all that in mind when you took this photo. Suffice to say, it shows very clearly what the thing is and does the Old Irish Creamery proud.
    Regards,
    Andrew
