    Hi Brenda
whenever I see your shots of Central Park, it reminds me of my time there and how often I got yelled at by locals lol
it was the strangest of things.

anyways, i like this toy boat - it IS a toy right? or are my eyes and brain deceiving me? cool to have the buildings all warped up like that, thats the best.

Summer has certainly arrived in NYC.
    nice shot

    Hi Bev
there I am in the WS photo again :)
its funny to see yourself on TE.
i like John's stare, he's in contemplation mode haha

Personally, i like the main photo with the added subjects for added visual interest...why not right?

on a funny note, in a strong strong wind, would all those black pieces on his hat stand up? lol....just a funny thought.

a very clear and well composed shot, nothing needs changing here.

    Ciao cara Ourania

This is such a beautiful composition. The little windmill certainly looks a little lonely and neglected. The sea and wind have taken their toll (much the do on sailors) and is in need of some love and attention. The composition is first-rate, the colours are perfectly regulated and I love the brooding sky which adds to the sense of loneliness. Excellent work, you really are mastering your new camera quickly.

    In abbraccio

    Hi Serghei
    long time no talk!
a very cute shot. we don't see these too often on TE.
i think this is the type of shot that we can all relate to on some level. we put our selves in the place of the children, remembering if and when we did something similar.
    fun shot

    Hi John
at first glance I thought somebody had stolen MY photo and posted it! lol
    seriously.

I have a similar shot from an air shot taken a couple years ago.

beauty work my friend. love seeing the tandem planes in action. its been a dream of mine to be a pilot. I always say, if I were to re-live my life, i'd go into the army as a pilot, learn how to become a jet fighter pilot.

my personal favorite plane has to be the P-51 Mustang, its a classic i know, and many people like it, but its just so hard to resist - kind of like a lady in red :)

interesting how people photograph the planes in flight...i've heard varying degrees of rights and wrongs in what to do. For example, some people say don't take the shot at a shutter speed that is TOOOO fast, that way the propellers look like they do in your photo, meaning they prefer the blurred propeller look. Other say the opposite.
so its just a matter of choice and personal preference i guess.

the planes themselves are super clear and sharp.
I wish we could have met HERE for the TE meeting! haha
    cheers

    Hi Luis
    what the heck is this?
so the building in the middle is the Opera House?
what ever it is, its certainly making a statement isn't it.
you could see that building from a million miles away.
i wonder how the local people feel about it.
the street sides are very colorful as well.
catches our attention in your gallery.
    fun shot

    yeah, pretty funky.
as i mentioned to you on Insta Gram, i need to try this for myself one of these days.

the final results you get are awesome.
so you're saying if your friend didn't walk towards you the sand in the lower fg wouldn't be red either? heck, i think it turned out better this way.

and i love that blue grey sky color, its what i'd like to have on the walls of my appartment. sweet shot, its OUT OF THIS WORLD! haha...couldn't help myself

    awesome views.
this is certainly a place i'd want to visit if in Boston.
where do the Red Sox play? I dont' see the baseball stadium haha.

its fun to scan the image and take a good look around each area to investigate.

through the glass, its very sharp, clear, you wouldn't even know it.

no, i didn't get any certificate for climbing up the tower in Edinburgh lol

i knew i liked this one immediately when i looked at it in your gallery.

this kind of composition works so well, its like a jig saw puzzle or something. and the black lines against the yellow works well too. throw in some warped glass reflections and it all comes together. nice work

    Hi Philippe
this is one of those subjects where I can never get tired of looking at it, bring it on!

maybe its because of the small narrow format, but i like how it looks like a small scale model of the real thing haha

good idea to leave out the sky in the harsh lighting.
    nice shot

I don't think i've seen this exact view before of this bridge.
    Well done.

love the strong blue which dominates the frame, and the shadows are a nice added element too. sweet to see the bridge in the far bg, the depth is excellent.

well this is a little bit different. Usually we dont' see the UPward shots of flower pots.

A beautiful palace and your composition here brings it out to the best. The scene is broken in thirds, the flowers, the grass, and the building / sky, each element very different but perfectly complimentary. The size of the building is captured really nicely too, not easy in a building so long

    Hi Ourania,
This close view does indeed show the building needs some help, but it's great inside the frame with the cafe seats. I think you mentioned that one these was a craft shop and cafe, a perfect use for them. I hope the character filled little building finds a living new owner
