    Ciao Noel

Apolloballs! Sorry, the Tourettes couldnt be restrained any further. What a great shot of Apollo showing off his goods in the Irish sun. My only question is: where is his damp mankini?

I love the light, the vertical frame and the starburst. Happy Friday to you, it's vino o' luck here. Actually every Day is vino o'clock at the moment.

    Cheers

Gidday dear Noel, my favourite Dubliner

I know Ive been slack with the critiques this past Year, But im kicking myself I missed this corker. I love the diagonal lines and the perspective. The colours, contrast and light are superbly judged. And there's blue sky. Ireland Just cannot be beaten on a sunny day! Excellent photography, one for the book, me thinks.

Sorry about the brevity of the critique, im typing on an iPhone with 90% of its screen smashed. I blame St Patrick, as it bounced off the floor in one of his hangouts.

What a wonderful pair of eyes dear Molly has. Unlike many a naughty Dublin boy, I never noticed her other ample assets until I was alerted to them by my fabulous hands-on tour guide and occasional Mollyboobist.

I love the pov and am impressed at how quickly you managed To get such a well-composed shot. Particularly without the Local guardai becoming involved. the light is excellent, especially given the overcast Day that your Fair City presented us with. Youve certainly managed so effortlessly to highlight Molly's magnificent mammory glands. It is particularly touching to see how shiny and pert they have become after years of abuse. If only We were all so lucky.

Thanks For sharing this wonderful photo and the very funny note. And Of course for being a tour guide extraordinaire.

    Hello Alfons,

You chose the best possible angle to photograph this Chevrolet Caprice, showing as many facets — front, side and upper surfaces. It happens to be a 1968 Model (I owned a '68 Chevrolet Impala). I'm impressed by the preservation or restoration of the 48 year-old car.

Crikey this photo is making me feel guilty For not going to Mass ;) I love the upward pov, Our Lady looks like she's standing over you and giving you a stern talking too. It really is an intruguing play in perspective. Youve also done well evening out the light, as Youve shot into the Sun and you'd expect some dark shadows. But there aren't any! Excellent job, great note as usual. I'm sending you some sun from Donegal.

I'm not getting the full beauty Of this photo as I'm viewing it from a very cracked iPhone screen thanks to Culloden. But despite the shattered glass it really is a beautiful photo. Gorgeous colours and incredible clarity, Just as I remember it on that lovely Spring Day. You do the place proud, I'm sure my great great great grandpa is happily looking on and giving you a round of applause.

    Gidday Fred, Noel's brother :)

As I'm about to make a re-entry to Donegal, so searched TE for some Irish pics, I come across this little gem from Da Fey. It really is a beautiful sculpture and you've chosen a very artistic close up of its details. In fact, I had to look very close to check it was the same sculpture. Excellent sharpness and light control. Love the note, very interesting, well-written and Noel-esque.

Thanks For sharing and for lending me your lovely brother for the day who showed me his Dublin and a bit of Meath!

How the hell are ya? Not long until your Scottish and Irish Adventure. I'm having a ball over here and was very lucky to meet up with Noel who showed me his beautiful Soggy Green Rock and then John Tyro who very kindly drove to the Highlands to meet up. I truly hope you can catch up with them. It's weird to think that (like you) Ive known these blokes for years, often "speaking" every day, and yet never having met them. Anyway, you'll love em! Your ears must Have been burning as We spoke about you alot :)

To your photo. I Didnt notice the blur although I'm using an iPhone, so everything looks Beautiful. The main thing is you captured the moment. And It's adorable. It's Heartbreaking to think that despite the smiles and adorability, these little cuties are living hard lives that no child should ever Have to live. Excellent shot and another one which is well out of your comfort zone. So Something to treasure even more.

    Hugs to you n T

Well she might not have Molly Malone's ample proportions, but I really like this sculpture for so many reasons. A main reason is the way you composte the shot, enhancing the minimalistic qualities of both your image and the sculpture itself. The idea of little bits of seaweed being intertwined with the sculptures's wrought iron is so symbolic and as your wonderful note alludes to, is part of man's timeless obsession with the magneticism of the sea. I certainly understand the draw of the sea your note so poetically explains. Nice Work, Thanks For sharing.

    Caro Giovanni

A very different sight to when I saw the giant a few days prior. It certainly is impressive, as is your photo. There's always such an eerie atmosphere to this place, as history confirms, and your photo brings all the mystique, romance and tragedy that the Highlands are so famous for. Or maybe that's the third dram of whiskey talking. Thank you so much for making the huge hike to Ardnamurchan, it really was a fun day. I hope to see you again in Glasgae on tha morra - as my nan would say. Unfortunately I can't upload pics until I return home in June, so I look forward to your shots of the place.

    Hello Miro,

It appears that we were in Australia about the same time. We came to Sydney on 12 Feb. and left 15 for Brisbane and a cruise. It's always a pleasure to see through another driver's rear mirror a site so very far and different than mine. If it weren't for a few shrubbery, that this is a desolate section of the planet.

Holy moly, talk about decisive moment and probably the funniest photo I've seen in your gallery. Looking at this, maybe I'm just not ready for Trim yet. Actually, I'm trying to work out whose tongue that is and a really creepy part of me hopes it's not the goat's. The look on the face of the bloke in the background is priceless. He wants to look away but - like the rest of us - he just can't. Excellent, well-timed, sharp image, with superb, farting colours. This photo made my day.
