OMG! I think, Benny, this bear does it not for sugar only.
This is very impressive show but I don't like the process of animal training. Anyway, excellent photo, well captured.

    Have a nice weekend!

    Hello, Gert,
I have visited the Western part of Slovakia in 2001. And this country seems me not for tourists. Honesty, the local people told me about the lifestyle of Slovalians. It is not Czech Republic, so slowly service, some special mentality. And I have not the best memories about my trip there.
Anyway, I like your report and I hope you were lucky in this country.

    Best wishes,
    Serghei

    Hi, Alexandre,
Well, this falls is not so big as Niagara Falls, for example. But if it has 80 m I think this is very expressive view, I can imagine this power of the water. I like your point of view, just impressive composition, fine details of the background.
    Best wishes,

    Ciao Silvio,

The composition, sharpness, colors and textures all collaborate in this lovely photo. The placement of the arch leading into the city, and the high hill in the distnace are strong focal points. The note, as usual, is first rate.

    Dear Serghei,

It was in 1983 that we visited Kyoto the first and only time. I see that the rails are slightly tilted, perhaps to allow some trains to pass through without stopping. But the curve of the tracks leads the eyes to a vanishing point. It's very effective.

    Warm regards, Serghei,

    Hello Eleu,

A superb areal shot of the dreaded Mig-15. I remember it well, and I remember when an Iraqi pilot defected to Israel with the first Mig-15 that the West was able to get its hands on. In a program I watched recently, they said that in taking the plane apart, the engineers found that it was not really superior technologically to the US fighters of the time, but it was in the training the pilots received.

    Warm regards,

    Hello, Philippe,

This is very unusual view of château. I'd like say you true. I think it was not the best idea to place this stick in the center of the composition, it breaks all balance here. Although I really like this old castle, it looks good on the background.

    Have a nice weekend!

    Hi, Maciej,
I think this tower with the gates seems like a face of fairy-tale head. The windows are two eyes, and the gate is a big mouth, right? Superb colors! This blue-red combination reminds me my visit to Malbork.

    Hi, Jorge,
This is very familiar place for me, I was there one year ago, and I can recognize every corner around. These palms create this composition more attractive for the eyes. I think the railroad station of LA is just one of the landmarks of the city. Thanks for memories!

    Ciao Christina,

What a superb portrait, and what sympathetic face. My only constructive criticism is to crop the photo 10-15% from the right side. According to a discovery by the British born American psychologist Dr. Christopher Tyler, in all great portraits, one eye of the subject (here the left eye) should be on the perpendicular bisector. This is never taught in art schools, and yet the Masters through the ages have painted portraits that way — Leonardo's "Mona Lisa," self-portraits of Rembrandt, and even Picasso's "Portrait of Dora Maar."

    Regards,

    Bulent

The small railway station is nestled in such a picturesque, but seemingly obscure setting. How on earth did you discover it? This is a colorful shot in the rugged mountains.

    Hello Jean,

The great German physicist and Nobel Laureate Werner Heisenberg is generally credited with the pronouncement, "Never underestimate how much pleasure it will give a man to see what he already knows!" So it is with Giant's Causeway. Last October on our visit to Belfast, we journeyed to Antrim, and were dazzled by the site of the geologic wonderland just as you must have been. This a very good photo giving an expansive view of nature's stonework. Your note is first rate.

Jean, you've inspired me to submit one of my photos of the site. Thank you.

    Warm regards,

    Hello Jean,

Excellent depth-of-field — the colors and textures of the stonework are sharp, just as the man within the frame, within the frame is sharp. A very creative composition with surpassing results.
