    Hi Giovanni
    wonderful shot!
love the contrast levels and how all that stonework just pops up off of the screen. makes a strong visual impact for sure.

the scene is disorganized and somewhat chaotic, but I mean that in a good sense, its real and unchanged from how it really is.

    wonderful post

    Hi Lisa
did you ever watch the A-Team in the late 80's?
is that a show that you've heard of? Not sure because we are literally worlds apart you and I - so perhaps the show wasn't popular in Australia???

The reason why i'm asking is simple...in the show
Mr. T hated to fly, so everytime they flew his buddies had to knock him out so he didn't even KNOW he was on a plane...

you mentioned this was taken on a Cessna...well here's the connection to my comments. Think of Tosca as
    Mr. T - or perhaps Mrs T :)

There is NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO way in hell she'd ever step into a small Cessna!

I've been trying to get her to do it but she's reluctant. Maybe one day she'll come around.

and are you sure that little Cessna didn't take you to another planet somehow? did you fly through the Bermuda Triangle of Australia and come out somewhere else? Because this Lagoon is looking quite unEarth like to me! its freaking awesome is what it is!

very very cool. is there life in that lagoon/lake?
what makes it pink and bluish like that?

    super subject.
    see you around

this is an excellent photo opportunity here.
the perfect backdrop with that tall rocky mountain and the charming old town below.
    excellent lighting and cloud coverage.
    so much to like.

    Hi Luciano
    easy winner here!
doesn't matter how many times I see these, they grab my attention every time.

love the varying colors of blue, darker at the top, lighter/brighter along the bottom.

excellent wiggle and movement in the water too, super shot as always

    Hi Noel
its great to see the bright spring colors in Ireland!
but its too bad there weren't more yellow flowers as you had hoped for.

as you mentioned in the note, this place would be pretty cool to explore indeed. I hope they don't refurbish it TOO much, the old charm may be lost.

a wonderful piece of Irish History here, dating way way back. I wonder what is behind you??? Meaning, what were the views out of those windows like. Is it waterfront?

    great pic

    Hi Abmdsudi
I'm a bit skeptical now....i wonder if the lady is a begger? and they use the child to pursuade people out of guilt to give money...i guess i've just seen this so often now around the world in my travels.

but perhaps she is a real person with a real daughter just trying to get by...who knows!

not sure how the girls eyes get so blue like that but its pretty darn cool! :)

and yet again the zoom lens comed in handy from a far distance - gotta love that!
    excellent people post

    Hi Jeach Claude
its always fun to spot these in the city right?
they're often unexpected as well, you'll be walking along and then suddenly...bang!

you have the main large reflection of the Cathedral, but there are other reflections too.
and the lady outside for a smoke is surely the sign of todays world!

    love this subject.
when I was in Poland on the trains, we saw so many of these abandoned Railway control rooms.
but this one looks like its still in use yes?

the building looks very TOP heavy, like its about to fall over - its quite funny looking.

easy to understand why people have been enjoying this post.

the reflections are so fantastic that you could have easily left OUT the boat on top!

the deep orange colors are an easy 10 out of 10, and the wiggle and movement create such strange but attractive forms in the water.

to me, this is one of those classic Italy type of photos. It just has "Italy" written all over it don't you think?

and its amazing how much of an impact the addition of the kids playing football has on the scene as a whole.

for obvious reasons the top half of this scene would have to be the focal point.
looks great with the glass allowing us to see inside, its an effective way to create depth in your shot too.

another funny looking piece of architecture, but i love it.

    another beauty!
I like this one alot because of the stark contrast between the two pieces of landscape.
they are similar yet also so different.
the cloudless sky isn't my favorite, but it works well here to bring in another color to the scene.
