    Hi Mariusz
well, yes we know you like the classic Postcard views haha.
    and why not right?

i remember Bev's shots too, so its good to have a bit of both for comparison.

in Bev's I don't think we got to see the large # of people as we do here, so this one is interesting too.
glad you added in the long pier way in the back, thats a sweet addition! awesome shot

    Hi Ourania
    funny looking scene really.
with these two guys on the beach, makes me wonder what happened to everyone else! did they scare every body off :)
Over here in North America, most men were the shorts of the man closest to us - thank goodness haha

certainly a different photo, but also an enjoyable one that puts a smile on my face

    Hi John
    very elegant presentation.
I really enjoy the right side versus left side set up.
and of course the blue sky is such an attractive element as well.

my favorite part though would be the roof lines and roof, along with the little splash of red. excellent post

    Hi Mesut
haha...not this is a FUN shot.
I think most of us can relate to this at some level, as kids we all played with balloons and bubbles right?
your shot has almost the same visual effect as a water reflection photo, its very distorted and the result is fantastic. Easily puts a smile on my face.
    well done

    Hi Danos
we dont' get to see very many shots from Greece like this, not sure why, but we just don't.

here we can get a wonderful sense of the curved beachfront, the different colors and depths of the water, and the steep hillside on the bottom. cool views for sure, it's worked out well for you here

    easy to enjoy this one.

    Hi Will
wonderful photo, i like it for many reasons, but i really enjoy how its partly in shade and mostly in bright light.
The girls are posing and you got yourself a fun shot even though they're not posing for you.
amazing history I would imagine here, love the stone and the smaller more intricate details like the orange colored ornaments used in the short wall behind the girls legs.

    PS
As for notes, not sure if i mentioned it to you before or not...but the best way now to upload your note is to just type it in after. When your photo is posted on the new gallery page, click on your photo...then directly under it click on 'EDIT'.

Then you can type in your note in full, and it uploads each and every time.

its always fun and exciting to see such subjects in real life.
when I look at these its impossible not to think back to when it was lived in and occupied, with all the activity surrounding it. Its fun to think how life was back then.
lovely shot today with the large trees protecting the walls.

    Hi Lisa
what's a photo in Dublin without a sculpture or two right?
Not sure if its bc of Noel, but seems like Dublin has more sculptures than actual human beings.

hmmm...bw or color, as John mentioned, i enjoy both. Thats the politically correct answer though. If I had to for sure pick one and only one, i think i'd go with the colored version. Heck, even Noel sounds surprised when he posts a blue-sky-shot locally lol - lets see it! :)

but its all give and take. with the bw you get more drama, with color you get, well, more color.

    thanks for this one!

we kind of get that sense here in this shot with the clouds and overcast look.

I wish we had bridges like this here in Canada or Vancouver :)
    just look at this thing.
and the water is so calm, allowing for the reflections to really pop. gotta love the red rust colours of the stone too.
    sweet shot.

I just has to take a closer look at this beast in your gallery. glad I did.

you mentioned how you have been to China 3 times, thats interesting, I don't think i've ever travelled anywhere 3 times other than Las Vegas.

I like how you purposely left the arms out of the frame, give it the look of a large spider or something :)

    beauty!
when you can show off lots of reds and contrast it with lots of whites, you have to go for it.
and i'm so glad you included the wires and mechanics above the train, gives it a real industrial type of feel.

    Hi Ney
this is another one of those cities I haven't been to before, but its on my list. I hear its very expensive in Geneva right?

cool to see the classic European Road markers on the buildings, they don't do that here in Canada.

again, the UP pov works well here, and its nice to have the extra subjects in the narrow corridor on the right. The little light fixture and the castle-like wall are cool features.

we see many photos from Gamla Stan, but this is one we dont' see often at all, the entrance gate.

I wonder what the history of this tall gated wall is.
