    Hello Marc,
Fabulous POV in this photo. It's great to look down and really see the entire shape of the Flatiron Building. There are other buildings in the area that I also like, one of them being visible to the right of the Flatiron. It's the building with the small cupola on top. The choice of B/W works well, creating a more classic feeling to the view.

    Hello Alexandre,
I am surprised that tourists would still get inside this scary looking cable car! Hopefully this one is strong enough to support them and get them safely back to the ground. The green color jumps out against the stony background. I would make one small suggestion for this photo: there seems to be a small piece of something in the lower left corner. It would help the composition to crop that out. :-)

    Hello Daniel,
This is an impressive interior, and you handled the difficult lighting very well. This space has so many great details. I like the ceiling, the chandeliers, and the floor. Of course the pieces of art are also very nice. It's always fascinating to be inside a place with so much history.

    Ciao Carlo,
There are so many boats packed into this small marina, and they create an interesting scene. I especially like all of the masts poking up into the sky. The facades facing us are beautiful, and there is so much color everywhere. Having so many things in one small frame makes a very attractive photo. :-)

    Hello Bulent,
This is a fun photo, and something a bit different from Venice. We still see a canal, but also a bit of daily life. It seems like there are baby carriages on some of the blue balloons. Maybe this family is going to a baby shower. :-) I like that you captured them walking away.

    Hello Roland,
I have never seen this tower before, and it is very interesting. The shape, like a giant corkscrew, is unique. I like the child running towards the tower in the foreground, and the deep, blue sky. I wonder if the only way to climb this tower is by using the spiraling staircase. I don't think I would make it to the top. :-)

Here you certainly were able to take advantage of a lovely reflection. I like that we only see the buildings and person in the "pearl". We have a surreal view instead of the actual reality. I don't think you over-sharpened, and I like the choice of B/W.

The sun is so strong in this photo that I feel like I'm looking at it in person. :-) I like the silhouettes of the wall and palm trees, too. We often try not to shoot into the sun, but when done correctly it can create a visually stunning view. I think you managed to handle the sunlight perfectly in this case. :-)

    Hello Malgo,
This is a beautiful place, but the rugged terrain must pose some challenges to the residents. It's unusual to see houses on top of rocks, and I like that most of them are red. They really stand out. The scenery in this spot is really stunning.

This is a colorful and interesting scene, especially seen from your high POV. :-) I like the dresses that the women are wearing, and also the man's black and white shoes. It's strange that there is actual furniture sitting on the sidewalk. It looks like they brought their living room out into the street. :-)

    Hello Mics,
It's unusual to see so many bats flying around in the daylight! I thought they came out at dusk or after dark. I guess I was wrong. :-) There are certainly a lot of them flying in that deep, blue sky. Do they make sounds while they fly? I've never seen a bat in person, so I would also be in awe of a scene like this.

    Hello Lisa,
I'm always fascinated by very old sites, and this one is so unique. Those handprints almost speak to me, conveying a sense of who was there hundreds of years ago. Did they ever imagine that centuries later we'd be viewing their stencils, and imagining what life was like in that spot so long ago? It's fascinating. Thanks for sharing this site with us. :-)

Wow, you really do have itchy feet! You see to be traveling non-stop these days. :-) This photo from Norway is very charming. Hello Lucas,
This is an interesting work of art. On the right side it looks like a table that is getting bigger and bigger. On the left, it reminds me of a spider. :-) I think there are countless objects a person can imagine looking at this. I like the lush, green background, with different kinds of trees and plants.
