    Hello Gert,
You're finding a lot of unusual subjects lately. Clowns and rainbows...I don't think those two have appeared together in a TE photo before. :-) Here's another surreal view that is charming and unexpected. I like the interaction between the people and the clowns, and that rainbow window is great, too. This is a happy photo. :-)

    Hello Federico,
I like how all these bright, blue lines shine through the black, night sky. The symmetry is nice, and so are the headlights and tail lights of the cars as they speed by. Very colorful and attractive photo.

    Hello Chris,
I love street art. I don;t know what the words say, but the boy's eyes seem so sad. With the skulls on the left side, I can only imagine that the subject of this mural is not a happy one. It's o.k. that there are no people in the frame; the bits of sidewalk and small features of the building work equally as well for me. :-)

    Hello Rob,
Fabulous architectural photo! There are so many great things to photograph from the Highline, and this building is very interesting. I like all the different shapes, and the way you composed this shot with some of the cables at the bottom of the frame. You captured a lot of nice architecture views during your last visit.

    Hello Mesut,
Nice, sharp capture of this lovely stork. We don't see storks here in NY, so it's nice to see one in a photo. :-) I like that you captured it inside the nest, and with a clear, blue sky. The beak is very long and pointy. :-)

    Hello Craig,
Cool building, and a very cool composition. :-) I like the tilt and the choice of B/W. In some instances it looks like this building is built out of giant wafers! The parking garage looks a bit crazy, though. It seems like the cars can fall right out! Probably there's some safety measure other than what appear to be wire-thin barriers, or maybe they do want to see how many drivers can actually park without falling out of the building. Ha ha!

    Hello Paul,
The houses are so colorful, but the hills are so steep. I wonder if these types of houses could survive an earthquake. I know Chile has had several earthquakes lately, and those houses look so fragile. I like all three photos, and in the main one the houses all look so close to one another.

    Hello Ally,
I like all kinds of architecture, and this is one of the more unusual buildings I have ever seen. Both the original shape, and the textures on the facade, are very interesting. I can see some of the windows, but without the sun shining on part of the facade, I might not even guess that this is actually an office building. Thanks for showing this to us. :-)

    Hello Noel,
Hmmm...Mollyboobs...I learned a new word today! :-) This is definitely a well-made statue, and very life-like. Poor Molly must be haunting the city because she's perpetually being groped! I do like the sharpness and POV of your fine portrait, as well as the bit of stone architecture in the background.

Cool, moody view of the Windy City. :-) I like the bit of cloud cover on the left side, and, of course, the high POV looking down at all the buildings. With the wide-angle lens it almost looks like a toy city. :-)

    Hello Gert,
These figures are creepy, but I like them. :-) For me it's always exciting to find unusual things in everyday places, and I also like surrealism. The main photo has nice contrast with the tortured man and the photographer. Both "people" are so different. In the WS, a boat glides peacefully by as some poor person is eaten by a strange bug...another great scene!

This looks like a very inhospitable place. There's an amazing contrast between cold and hot, and I like your chosen POV. With the tourists in the background, and steam all around, it's a very interesting scene. I don't know why anyone would ignore the warning stones and get too close!

    Hello Gyorgy,
As others have already said, when we open this photo we see a lovely field of depth and subject, but it's the ice cream cone that really steals the scene. :-) That photographer had excellent skill to use a large camera and still keep his ice cream safe. I do like the sculpture, too.

This is a beautiful and elegant portrait. The field of depth and focus on the girl is great. I like her pose with the violin, and also the bit of green cloth and braid that are peaking out. She is very pretty.
