    Hi John
another very attractive shot here from Bruges.
its a little strange seeing this one because it doesn't have a canal view :)

I really like the cold weather atmosphere with people walking in winter jackets, and all that stone in the buildings and on the ground. the diffused light is sweet too. lots to like here :) cheers

    Hi Stephen
always fun to see indoor architectural designs :)
good use of the wide angle here.
I like the wrap around type of effect, and how the tall vertical lines intersect the horizontal curve in the middle.
lots of geometry going on if you study the scene carefully.
    thanks for this one.

    Hi Silvio
you know I always enjoy your rustic old town photos like this. so much history, so many stories that these walls could share with us if they could talk.

I like the pipes we see running down the walls, its so old school :) excellent stone shot from this historic location.

well I guess its true, we learn something new every day.
I didn't know about Feeder Stations before.

I appreciate the fact you posted this photo of this subject.

This is another great view from Mompox. You had the perfect spot to capture the people passing by. I like all the bursts of color from the red roofs and different flags. The cables and lamppost are just part of the scenery, and that's fine. :-)

This is a very nice double portrait, and your framing really makes the birds stand out. I like how close together they are, with their beautiful wings open to dry. The softly-blurred background is also attractive.

Wow, that's tall! :-) I like your vertical composition, highlighting the spray of water. We can also see some architecture and boats, which is also very nice. I wonder if any other fountains are taller than this one. I'll have to look it up on Google. :-)

thanks for mentioning the skiers on the right, I don't think I would have noticed them otherwise. Personally, I wouldn't want to ski over a lake :) But thats just me.

sorry for getting to this one late, i've been sick for the past few days and have not been on TE, feeling better now.

yes, almost everything looks better in red don't you think? haha, actually, this look a little like a maroon or plum, almost red. and what makes it stand out is their choice of white trim - that makes it pop!

great WS photo as well, thanks for this dedication I appreciate it. nice to have the green leaves to add even more colour too. cheers

    Hi Brenda
cool to see the WS photo too, as it stands across the street, looking at it from the sidewalk.

what makes a strong impact for me is that it's an actual photograph, not a painting - so this is pretty damn real!
I couldn't imagine how difficult it must have been for parents and children to go through this.

excellent photo grab walking the local streets.

    PS
So has Trump responded yet, to the fact his wife is an immigrant? I don't get that guy.
and has anyone in the media or politics asked him point blank why Turkey and Saudi Arabia are not on the banned list of countries? seriously, has anyone confronted him on that publicly??????????

    Hello Craig,
Nice interior shot. The tiles remind me the works of Gustavino that I've seen here in NYC, but he didn't have anything to do with Sacre Coeur. I like your framing, with the angel and some of the arches above it.
