    Hello Malgo,
Great symmetry and interesting patterns in this photo. It looks so clean - more like a museum than a metro station! The lighting must have been tricky, but you handled it well. The Moscow metro certainly seems like a very photogenic place. :-)

    Hello Malgo,
I've been enjoying your photos from Russia. I really like this traditional church. The wooden design is beautiful. This side view really shows us all the details, and I think the gray sky suits this scene well. Thanks for adding the WS photos, too. :-)

    Hello Lars,
Great view of the Manhattan Bridge. It gets neglected sometimes while people focus on its more famous neighbor. :-) I like the red boat that's going by, and I can see so many famous buildings, including my favorite Chrysler Building. Yes, the air in NYC can get very hazy during the summer, but that makes this scene even more realistic. :-)

    Hi John
I want to change my name to "Cavendish"
    sounds quite Royal :)

Its the type of name that screams "I'm wealthy, I love it, & I'm a snob" lol

its the type of name of a person who undoubtably has a Butler!

I'd like to see this place when construction is complete, sounds quite swanky indeed.

so did you use your trusty Layering skills to highlight the blue sky in this one? haha

you have captured a fine piece of history here, now you have to wait until 2016 to show us the updated version from the EXACT same pov! I'll be waiting!!

lovely shot with the sweeping curve and brilliant lighting.

    PS
I have 4 days off now, so i'll try some of that layering you wrote to me about...i'll let you know how it went

    Hi Christiane
haha...we all know where we see this view from, and which TE member we see it from!

Classic view from Pisa, maybe the 'other' most famous scene from this small city.

you have yourself a beautiful blue sky, and the colors on the building fronts are the main highlights. the water reflection colors are pretty sweet too.

    really like this one

soft light and colors all around.
a very warm type of atmsophere with this one.
the light on the trees are an easy 10 out of 10.

its not secret as i've said a hundred times before, i love clouds, and they can make or break a photo.

its so interesting how clouds form, and the various types of clouds there are too - how could anyone not enjoy clouds!!

    fun view with this one.

    now this is super cool!
looking at your gallery page, this one stood out immediately, caught my attention Pronto!

    Hi Jason
how did you get such an awesome shot?!
just goes to show that you DONT need to purchase a front row seat to a ballgame to get a wicked photo.

first of all, i really like the wide white border and small black trim..attractive set up.

and the green/brown combo is A+ too, striking colors for sure. again..awesome shot here.

    I got you're email...thanks for understanding.
    and yes, i'm whipped
but then again, aren't we all when we're in a relationship? lol

We'll have to meet up at some point, i'd love to go to a ballgame in Arizona, that'd be cool.

Oh, and i still think Jeter is over rated! haha...just razzing ya..you damn Yankee fan you!

but i'm glad to hear you were a Yankee fan back in the Mattingly days, when they sucked. It means you're a true fan, not a band-wagon fan.

The Nats are maybe one of the favorites to win it all this year, but I was a montreal expo fan way back when the team sucked. And i've emotionally endured all the years when the Expos LOST star players due to salary restrictions...So i understand where you're coming from.

the Yankees are on old team now though, and they keep signing old free agents...not sure if i approve of that philosophy. they need to get younger.
    anyways...see you around
    cheers

its great to see these types of shots from Turkey.
as much as i enjoy the typical touristy shots of famous landmarks, these are just as fun to view and to take.

it was worth it to be up in the morning light, proof is in the pudding as they say :)

really like the reds and browns mixed with greens and blues. contemplative mood.

    Hi Lars
i'm a big fan of these city sky lines.
and for obvious reasons nyc has some of the best.

and yes, its a bit hazy and misty, the sky isn't clear but thats not your fault - what could you have done differently, nothing really.

the view is the star, the city is the star.

    Hi Kari
so you say the emblem is NOT realed to the Nazi Germany??? thats so strange because its almost a copy of it.

why would they use such a similar emblem? Personally, that makes NO sense to me at all as to why the government chose that, or at least didnt change it.

as for the photo itself, i'm a big fan.
love the light, love the subject, love the angle so we can see the underside too.

well, i've never seen Montreal quite like this before.
its fun to see the Olympic Stadium in the bg too.

are they ever going to tear that building down? is it being used much?

maybe not the best of lighting conditions, but then again it is sunset time so its quite limited.

what i love most is the vastness of the river and how small the people appear to be. really gives off a sense of feeling insignificant as humans :)

so this is the deck of the boat? yikes, thats looking pretty cold!

i appreciate how difficult it is to line up all the geometry in a shot like this! Sometimes it's so bad it drives me crazy! haha

the best part about this shot, and what makes it so unique are the striking color contrasts with the whites and blacks.
