    Hello Gert,
This does look like a nice place to relax. Sitting near any body of water is soothing to me. It's an interesting mix with the scenic river, and also some urban grit on the left. I like the WS photo of the impatient duck. I often feed the turtles in Central Park's largest lake, and sometimes the ducks show up wanting the food. At least they're not as pushy as the geese. Those birds can get very forceful when they're hungry!

    Hello Zbigniew,
This is a lovely, sunny view of the palace and gardens. The symmetrical architecture is really attractive, and so are all the different flowers, although the one tropical-looking tree on the left seems like an odd choice. :-) By the way, thanks for adding me to your list of favorites. I appreciate it.

    Hi Serghei
    long time no talk!
a very cute shot. we don't see these too often on TE.
i think this is the type of shot that we can all relate to on some level. we put our selves in the place of the children, remembering if and when we did something similar.
    fun shot

    Hi John
at first glance I thought somebody had stolen MY photo and posted it! lol
    seriously.

I have a similar shot from an air shot taken a couple years ago.

beauty work my friend. love seeing the tandem planes in action. its been a dream of mine to be a pilot. I always say, if I were to re-live my life, i'd go into the army as a pilot, learn how to become a jet fighter pilot.

my personal favorite plane has to be the P-51 Mustang, its a classic i know, and many people like it, but its just so hard to resist - kind of like a lady in red :)

interesting how people photograph the planes in flight...i've heard varying degrees of rights and wrongs in what to do. For example, some people say don't take the shot at a shutter speed that is TOOOO fast, that way the propellers look like they do in your photo, meaning they prefer the blurred propeller look. Other say the opposite.
so its just a matter of choice and personal preference i guess.

the planes themselves are super clear and sharp.
I wish we could have met HERE for the TE meeting! haha
    cheers

    Hi Luis
    what the heck is this?
so the building in the middle is the Opera House?
what ever it is, its certainly making a statement isn't it.
you could see that building from a million miles away.
i wonder how the local people feel about it.
the street sides are very colorful as well.
catches our attention in your gallery.
    fun shot

    yeah, pretty funky.
as i mentioned to you on Insta Gram, i need to try this for myself one of these days.

the final results you get are awesome.
so you're saying if your friend didn't walk towards you the sand in the lower fg wouldn't be red either? heck, i think it turned out better this way.

and i love that blue grey sky color, its what i'd like to have on the walls of my appartment. sweet shot, its OUT OF THIS WORLD! haha...couldn't help myself

    awesome views.
this is certainly a place i'd want to visit if in Boston.
where do the Red Sox play? I dont' see the baseball stadium haha.

its fun to scan the image and take a good look around each area to investigate.

through the glass, its very sharp, clear, you wouldn't even know it.

i knew i liked this one immediately when i looked at it in your gallery.

this kind of composition works so well, its like a jig saw puzzle or something. and the black lines against the yellow works well too. throw in some warped glass reflections and it all comes together. nice work

    Hi Philippe
this is one of those subjects where I can never get tired of looking at it, bring it on!

maybe its because of the small narrow format, but i like how it looks like a small scale model of the real thing haha

good idea to leave out the sky in the harsh lighting.
    nice shot

Great B/W photo, with a moody atmosphere, and a neck-breaking POV. :-) I've seen that twisty building in several other photos, and I really like it. I love the way the tops of these skyscrapers come close to converging in the center of the frame. Very nice!

That happy accident created a very unique and beautiful photo. The red glow seems like something from another world, and I'm surprised by how much of the foreground is illuminated by that single head torch. The exposure of the sky is perfect and fascinating, too.

looking at your gallery page, this one jumped out at me the most so I took a closer look.

clearly the black and white motif was the correct way to go with this one.

ok, this has to be one of the strangest and weirdest pieces of art i've seen displayed.

was it dreamt up in some nightmare or something haha

both of your WS photos are great, especially the one showing the tree. the overall shot is nice bc we can put it into scale and context.
