Bonjour John, as we say in France!

The general diagonal composition reinforces the feeling of dynamism, movement yet given by the scene itself and also the white smoke coming from the planes. Good idea to have orange painted aircraft, they are eye catching against the sky.

You've carefully chosen the POV to have the weird clock and its reflection, but also the room wall and ceiling in the mirror.

    Hi Recep

I like the framing with a perspective of the wheat on the table leading our eye on the working woman, the dark BG is enhancing the warm colors. I would have cropped the right part (advert for Coca Cola) which is not in accordance with the mood of the picture.
    Warm regards

    Kak Dyewa Kasia!

She is really pleased to pose for you, having yet some gifts to show you: a feeble smile, the way to tilt her head and the position of the hands holding the door frame. The blurred BG color is in accordance with the door frame and her pull over hues.*Have a lovely day

    Hi Miguel

I have seen such a scene in India; some parts of the image are overexposed (no matter in the ground under the bike), and the garage owner is half hidden by a pole. You should have stepped at right to have him totally and exposed for the light hues, and then reduce the contrast. Nevertheless, I like the mood of your street photography.

    Hi Omid

It's a good idea, the old lamp is lighting the carpet with warm hues, but you destroy the mood of the picture by the gas heater and a plate with some cheese at left.
to be done again, but with another POV.

    Hi Lisa
well, i'm not even going to TRY to compete with Klaudio's critique, its well written and certainly memorable.

I have a question...how long are these scum politicians in power for? Here in Canada the Party can hold power for only 4 years, then there has to be another re-election, what about in Australia?

Lets hope the people can vote them OUT asap.

Whats so surprising is how big business and some media types follow the current regime. I guess money talks, how sad is that.

In my honest opinion the recent "WIN" you mentioned about keeping the Barrier Reef listed as a UNESCO sight was 100% planned by your government.

Its the CLASSIC Bait and Switch technique.

I seriously think the government KNEW they wouldn't win that case, but went after it to give the people a win in the battle to shut them up - sort of speak.

knowing full well, the governments first priority was that mining deal - that was their PRIMARY target from the get go.

So they were thinking lets give the people a small win, but we will win the war, classic bait and switch.

Perhaps they think it will give the people some satisfaction in that they succeeded in keeping the sight a Unesco sight, but the government didn't give a rats ass in the first place. They now have what they were after.

Lets hope mother nature finds a way to win out in the end. Mother nature almost always finds a way.

I appreciate and admire your passion, dedication and ethics, i really do.

    GO Mother Nature!!

    Hi Chris
Oh man, this is one every photographers to-shoot-list, or at least you would think it is, I know its on mine.

I know the Castle has been renovated time and time again to maintain it, but i wonder how it looked on its VERY FIRST day of completion many many years ago.

what a stunning scene with the lush greens all along the bottom and the hills behind.

    Lucky you :)
    wonderful darkened light and exposure.

    Hi Malgo
so you had another TE meeting, thats incredible Malgo!
you seem to meet more people than anyone, and thats a compliment!!

love the top half of this photo, the banner looks great up there and it seems to actually widen the frame even though we know it doesn't. Its one of those optical illusions i guess.

super clear and sharp scene, really enjoy it.

    Hi Craig,

Nope, in my opinion there ain't nowt wrong with postcard pictures just like there's nothing wrong with "chocolate box" pictures either.

This picture's a smasher with lovely strong but well balanced composition, lovely light, fine vibrant colours and, as always, stunning details and sharpness.

    A Beauty!

    Kind Regards,

    John.
