    Hello Serghei,

In this spectacular photo, it appears that a streaking meteorite has just struck the ground.. The light and sharpness are superb. I am also back from travels, and am beginning to post again.

    Warm regards,

    Dear Wolfgang

You did really well with the difficult light here. I love the soft sky and the bright Autumn colours of the tree and grass. The arch has been illuminated beautifully and you have used it to naturally frame your photo. I like it a lot, well done.

    Hallo dear Gerrit

It's almost like these 2 have posed for your camera. They are in perfect symmetry together, like 2 obese synchronised swimmers :) I love the proximity, the detail and depth. A photo that made me smile. Still is, even as I type.

A stunning sunset shot, with beautiful strong colours and silhouettes. I like the reflection, the stairway to heaven in the water and the perfect exposure on the sun. A very moody and romantic photo. Well done.

Wow, this is truly beautiful. A masterpiece in gold. I love the reflections, the tight cropping with absolutely no sky at all. The placement of the fisherman is perfect and your light control is exquisite. COngratulations on a truly magnificent photo.

    Hi Stephen

Except that we're far away from London, I'm expecting Jack the Ripper to jump out at us any moment. I really like the golden lighting here, adding to the sense of menace and desertion of these characteristic alleys. Well done.

    Namaskar dear Angshu

Those mountains really do look painted. That are a grand spectacle and Mother Nature has outdone the best of the man-made masterpieces. Stunning definition, texture and depth. The inclusion of the tiny town at the foot of the mountains certainly puts it all in perspective.

    Well done!

Indeed! The clouds does look like it is on fire on top while it is getting ready to drop some rain. So many times I have hurry to get the colors created by the sunlight hitting the clouds, fun to play with. Nice catch of the reflection on the water. Very well done, tfs.

    Dear Abmdsudi

A very pensive and intimate shot of this monk. The colours are stunning and I am impressed by the definition in his face and robes. The green part on the left hand side, gives the impression that you are intruding on a private moment. I am unsure if this is what you wanted to convey, but I like the effect a lot.

    Gidday Dear Brian

It just goes on forever doesn't it? Wow it's beautiful, such a mish-mash of colours, textures, light and shade. I love the two-thirds framing, the stunning sharpness, I can account for every pebble down there in the valley! An amazing piece of artwork thanks to a grand combination of photographer and Mother Nature.

    Hi John,

So YOU were the cause of the sun disappearing...should have stayed on the bus I suppose! :)

As with John's (tyro) recent picture, yours fulfills the same objective of showing that the perfect weather conditions are not required to make a pleasing and aesthetic photo. The muted light is of little consequence when you have the eye for photography in the first place, being able to put together a scene and present a subject such as this. Plenty of detail, color and balanced charm. Enjoy the new day. Take care.

    Friendly wishes,

    Jason

    Hi John,

Ahaha, I think you've just answered your own question to the negative...no, the weather conditions do NOT require perfection for photography, despite what some members of the local camera club might think!? ;) Need proof, just look at what you've posted here...the fog actually makes the shot...unlike that tiny ball finding it's home in the cup. lol

Golfers are some of the most fanatic athletes I've come across in sport, they love they're game almost like no other. Ask Miro, he'll tell you how much he enjoys a good round or two, even in sweltering desert heat...I'm sure this would be a "walk in the park" for him. :) I enjoy it also, but am nowhere near that dedicated. This is mind boggling, as you noted...how on earth can they even track their shots?? I guess you could easily make a case for a simple ball drop though, for wherever best suits your score. :"

A fun and inquisitive image, with an amusing note in accompaniment. "Fore!" Have a great, misty day. Take care.

    Friendly wishes,

    Jason
