    Hi Rosemary
Well seen from this angle and impressively taken with fantastic display of geometrical forms, lines and shapes, strengthened by wonderful play of shadow. This makes a colourful abstract touch and really love the striking silvery glow from side lighting and that red is so vital glueing as strong anchor point. A wonderful stuff creatively shot and your exposure control is second to none. Fabs, Congrats

    Hi Joelle
Although the day was not on your side when lighting looks almost flat but I think you did the utmost. Love the perspective and mood with dotted of figs giving nice scale. A wide view and a reminder of the events some seventy years ago when the D-Day landings took place. My only crit: cyan-blue tinge appears slightly overpowering on which i am sure can be corrected easily in pp to reflect the true colours of the day. Well done.

The cup of life, well, for some at least. The cup that fulfils, the cup that provides, the cup that completes. This is some fine piece of crockery, looks mid eastern, i knew the exact name for it, now my memory fails me. This kind of photo demands the lowest 'f' possible to get the lovely bokeh etc..

i like your presentation with the focus on the textures..

sip it hot my friend !

    Hey Klaudio..

Quite the impressionist stuff, the soft lines, you are treading the thin line between subjectivity and the absolute, the know and the unknown. the light is just surreal, the perfect 'f' for such a mood.

this could very well be a painting..

    Hi Janusz
I love how you saw this and composed it to make it work, the lovely detailed shadow works as good strong fg together with speck green sandals lead all the way into the scene. The framing is great with the layering of delicous colours of the prestine water is delightful to look, while the branches give a lovely touch of natural framing balanced by the headland on the left. Wonder what else could you ask for! A fabs picture so well rewarded, worth the effort. Congrats

    Hello Piotr,
A breathtaking view of the mountains and the lake far below. The dark cross is a strong eye-catcher near the foregropund, and the person walking up the hill is an equally strong focus point for the composition, in spite of the competition from the scenic surroundings. I like the fine light and the soft clouds in the distance.
    Kind regards,
    Gert

    Hello Roland,
A simple but graphically very attractive and interesting photo. The white lines on the dark stones create a stunning pattern and the two men give an amusing touch to the view. They seem to be discussing something of rather great importance, at least to the man to the left, who seems to be argiuing his case.

    Hello Bev,
This garden would require more hard work than I would be prepared to give it, but I don't mind watching it. Besides, does that boat really look safe? Lots of lovely plants though, and obviously at least one very nice tree as well, judging from the fine reflection. But a nice flat in the heart of a city is more to my taste.
    Kind regards,
    Gert

Colour of the kayaks make great looking combination which works especially well on your tight framing. And doubling them on the reflections is fantastic.

    Hi Craig,
This angle looked familier, and maybe due to that lost some of the wow effect it certainly deserves. Anyway light is about optimal giving stron contrasty result. Exposure is just right, not burning those whites.

    Hi Gildas,
Wow, this coffee machine has really special design with all those round forms and stainless steel surfaces. It's sort of rustic looking and still extremely stylish. Good light showing shiny surfaces well. Tight framing is just right.

    Hello Recep,
This is a good composition where we see the praying boy from an unusual perspective. The tiled pillars (maybe Iznik?) frame the view of the boy and the beautiful carpets very nicely. You have handled the light very well.

    Hello Rosemary,
These three pictures are even funnier than the previous ones of the giant metal burqa. Not that I understand exactly what the artist wanted to express, but do we really need to "understand" every work of art to enjoy them? This is an exhibition that puts me in a good mood, which is more than I can say sometimes when going through huge, dark rooms of Rubens' fat ladies and pompous men. Even pensioners can enjoy this with a childish mind.
    Kind regards,
    Gert

Hello Denis - A fabulous alpine scene. The colours are so lovely with nothing to jar the harmonious blues and greens. The quiet colours of the FG flowers make a lovely detail and add a feeling of depth to the landscape.

    Most attractive!

    Hello Wolfgang,
It's a very beautiful view of the small village and the fine church. The scenery is great and the colours are strong and vivid. I would have prefered to see the small photo as a workshop instead of inserted into the main photo. Done like this I think it disturbs the view.
    Kind regards,
    Gert
