    Hi Eleu
Marvellous F-16 image with landing gear down, the action frozen and a striking livery too! fantastic inflight well detailed, death defying aeronautical destroyer, simply superb, and when on the ground so very fearsome. The stunning colours on the tail lends a tremendous lift. Great capture, another of my pride and for tx showing this :) TFS.

    Hi Maria
Contrast between the two types of transport, I like your composition and the angle which you used well to draw the eye to the stunning rickshaw with lovely catch light from the right The backdrop building adds the sense of location. Clarity is reasonably managed under the circumstances with good overall contrast. Lovely street shot, Congrats, TFS

    Hi Krzysztof
A cute town scene with two eye-catching buildings - the old church and the museum building creating lots of beauty complementing each other really well as strong focal of interests which is nicely juxtapositioned. Beautifully good light and tones too, this is indeed a rewarding effort and your seamless work is well rewarded. Very well done capture, Congrats.

    Hi Pavle
Having more of the sky area is the right choice here, a summer time landscape with great potential when the glorious cloud formation & blue sky play the major role in attracting the eye with the mountain acts as strong framing in the background. An impressively composed and exposed shot, great dof and lovely sense of immense depth where the road leads so smoothly into the whole scene. Lovely catch, Congrats.

A scenic shot with the citadel perfectly positioned as strong focus of attention across the waterway and having the foreground adds a little interest as a whole. I love the subtle colours, detail and contrast ensuring that nothing distract from main subject. Great capture, TFS

Hello Serge - I must try a shot like this one day.... 7 frames stitched together most successfully, I'm not sure I am up to that! The distortion really doesn't bother me and I like the fact that you show the surrounding buildings and general ambience of the location.

Did you use a tripod or is this hand held? The light management across the frame looks well balanced, that must be a challenge in a shot like this.

    Nicely done.

Hello Bev - I thought that I recognised this bridge and looking at the superb link you provided confirmed exactly which one it is. I have a shot of it taken when we visited Glasgow a couple of years ago. We enjoyed a walk along the banks of the Clyde and I was impressed by the many bridges that span this once busy waterway.

Your shot has an attractive tranquillity about it and it is quite extraordinary to be able to show the bridge removed from its busy city setting. You managed to captured some lovely bright reflections in the brown water ... good weather in Glasgow especially for the Games.

Hello Denis - What a wonderful surprise I had when I opened up the TN. The wild flowers clustered along the lake's edge make this shot for me. I know they are a small detail in your overall composition but they add a freshness to the shot and bring an intimacy which benefits the overall view. Lovely location ad so nicely presented

Hello Carlo - As you know, we didn't visit Rome but I did notice the many fountains and wells both in Tuscany and Umbria. I surmised that the Romans, who are known for their love of bathing and fresh clean water, set this trend in Italy. You found a fine old drinking fountain with which to illustrate your note and I wonder if people come and fill bottles here? We saw how locals filled their bottles in many places we visited.

An attractive shot which benefits from warm light.

I really appreciate the low POV that you used here Craig. I think getting down to the level of the 'tea-drinkers' shows a connection with your subjects. Both the men look directly into you lens... one seems very eager as he leans towards you! The woman averts her eyes which tells us something about the culture I think. To my mind the WA lens works perfectly well here and I see no trace of lack of sharpness.

Nicely done, a super DL scene.

Hello Christiane - This is an attractive coastline which still retains a wild look despite the development of what look like holiday apartments and homes. The colours all work harmoniously together, even the terracotta roofs echo the warm colours of some of the vegetation; I like that.

A fine maritime composition where the contrasts of blues and oranges make a terrific display.

Hello Malgo - I find that thoughts of war consumes many minutes of my days the the moment. I watch what's happening in the Middle East with a sense of despair and as the world remembers the 100 year anniversary of WW1 and the utter madness of it you post this. Your note and WS are another sombre reminder of the madness of mankind. It seems that past conflict teaches us, the supposed highest form of life, nothing at all.

Would that we could all be as innocent as these small children who splash in the fountain totally unaware of the dark history of your location. Looking at the WS, I can identify the buildings in you shot and marvel at how well they have been restored. What a tragedy that those lost in war and those who suffer from its memories cannot be restored as neatly too.

    An excellent post.

    Warmest regards

Hello Ghislaine - This is a fascinating shot. The lines of perspective provide stability to the composition which is filled with light, muted colour and dancing reflections. The back light has provided you with some excellent organic silhouettes and the lone figure gives context.

    Hello John -
What a wonderful shot. The house is so beautiful and I like the way it appears over the tops of the trees which, I think, add to the sense of place. Good light brings out the colours in the building materials and give a warmth to the old stonework. A romantic, fairytale building and a classy, well managed shot.

This impressive sculpture fills the frame and packs a punch Brian. I like the detail and especially the softly reflected ambient light which adds form and volume to the piece. I shall have to do some research as I would like to learn more about the thoughts behind the work; it has a classical look and the title 'Sleeping Head' intrigues me.

    Fascinating!
