    Hey Jason
my first question is, where on earth on the keyboard did you find that weird symbol? lol

did you purchase a Russian keyboard for this post! haha
or maybe its a collection of 3 lines? i think thats how you did it right?

this has to be one of the most strangest subjects of architecture I've ever seen on TE!

and seeing your post and Malgos, it WAS night and day difference in lighting wasn't it!

in a funny way, this thing looks like a miniature collection of thousands of matches stuck together haha

gotta say, very cool. and i like the vignetting too.
thats what you have to do with bad weather, gotta get a bit creative.

    awesome post
    cheers

Magic moment no photographer would missed, Peter.
I don't know how to pronounce "Skäckerfjäll" - but nevertheless I can appreciate it's beauty.
Nice taken over the lakes with minimal light conditions.
    have a nice new day,

The B&W format works well here Jason, light wasn't as best for photography, I presume.
Good clarity, wooden elements seen perfectly, and the way it was mounted also interesting.

    Capturing that moment...
They certainly look engrossed in what was going off - Great candid with a storyline it's very colourful particularly the fg really brightens up the day. You saw it, glad you took it and that's probably the best reason in the world for taking a photograph. Congrats

    Hi Luciano
this is an awesome shot my friend!
what stands out so well is the overall sharpness of the stonework.
that, and the exposure/lighting and vivid colors.
    its outstanding.
love the addition of the royal blue water on the right too.
    beauty!

    Hi John
A picturesque town by the canal with the classic buildings drawing the eyes full of good contrasting colours in brilliant light. Great perspective which increases the depth seen from this angle and striking bed of flowers in the fg has liven this shot tremendously with a punchy finishing touch. Excellent shot, TFS.

    Bonjour Claude,

This has to bring out the inner child in all of us! What a great shot, that I'm sure just about every single person can relate to...as child or even adult. :) Another composition that would have been interesting in its own right with the varied shapes, colors and textures...but the presence of this youngster and his curiosity takes center stage. Your senses and observational skills have paid off once again! Bonne journee. All the best.

    Bonjour Roland,

I've really come to enjoy these types of minimalist shots. It's a smart composition and realization of the given elements to create an eye-catching image. The graphism of the stripes is broken nicely by these two gentlemen in passing, which in turn, are also creating a new element of their own in shadow. A good eye for pattern and perspective. Bien fait! Bonne journee.

    Amicalement,

    Jason

i looked up that town of Bodie...looks very very cool!

I look forward to seeing some of those photos of the abandoned buildings :)

this photo brings back lots of memories because I too rented a white mustang in Las Vegas.

really like the large open spaces that exist in the scene. the landscape seems to go on and on for infinity.

    Hi Klaudio,

Although not a coffee drinker myself, I do enjoy the aroma it produces. Great information behind this image, I would have never guessed Australia to be leading the pack. Just goes to show what a great learning tool TE can be, and as the saying goes "You really do learn something new every day."

A beautiful cup of coffee, well presented to make almost anyone want to give it a try. :) A nice tribute to Luciano and fellow coffee drinkers worldwide. Quite an artistic cup, the design in the foam is a delightful touch. Detailed, evenly exposed and I really like the slow fade to blur from the shallow depth of field. Enjoy the rest of the day. Take care.

    Friendly wishes,

    Jason

So, this is the entire town...what we see here? :) This is a beautiful little corner, so much to take in from this small sampling, almost as if were constructed specifically for a photo shoot. I love the big shapes along with the many colors and textures within. A most pleasant way to enter the city, you've captured the allure of the old world, small town charm. enjoy the new day. Take care.

this is certainly one of those photos that must be enlarged from the small thumbnail gallery to be fully appreciated.

and I'm glad I did just that.

love the grass and weeds in the fg, and how the green mossy water turns into blue.

the other great part of the scene is the tall sail of the sailboat.

    Hi Gert
you know my love for the abandoned, the grit and the grime...so thats why that red Cart is the star of the show.

you're star of the show is the boy right! haha
    of course!

too bad the people in the bg aren't off to the side a bit as they distract the sight lines a bit when we examine the boy sitting there. but thats just nitpicking.

in this little photo package there are many interesting elements to be viewed and appreciated.
not to mention its making me a bit thirsty :)

another 10 out of 10 for quality from a scan!!

and i know what you mean about the photo being a bit dark on your computer...for me, the colors often are different when i upload the photo on TE. The colors are often MUCH MUCH duller and not as vibrant as the ones on my personal computer.

But your shot here looks fine, not too dark at all.
    fine post
